Usually in the habit of minding her own business, but it was just human natural or curiosity -- or both -- that made people listen in when a conversation was being had close by. Especially a conversation with oneself. There was a lot to unpack in his statement, but Sam’s eyes went wide as she tried to think about the various meanings behind his statement. The things that came to her mind made her snort, unable to hold the chortle in.

As broken hearted and miserable as she was deep down inside, there were two types of people on Christmas and she was the not singing holiday love songs type. “ No.” She replied with a grimace and a small shudder. “And if more than one person gets up there to sing that, Wonderwall,or Single Ladies then you wont have to worry about serving me because I’ll leave for myself.” She chuckled a bit. “Just a Smirnoff Ice, if you have it.” She wasn’t much of a drinker but anything was better than sitting in her father’s house feeling sorry for herself.

“And maybe a snack or something? I don’t know if you guys serve wings or anything like that but I’ll take whatever.” Cooking too, played a big part in her decision to venture out instead of staying home.” Spicy, if they got ‘em.”
