My husband and I enjoy walking around the city and taking pictures of our furry friends. One of my biggest obsessions is watching them yawn (and try to fight my urge to put my finger in their mouth).
Here are some of our yawning collections.

Motorbikes Galore - Hanoi, Vietnam
The chaotic, constant blur of motorbikes is both amazing to see and terrifying to walk among for those (me) that are used to casual walking cities. I was able to tune out the unending beeping of horns but wasn’t able to get used to weaving through streams of motorbikes to get around. Still, Hanoi was an amazing experience and am glad and lucky I go to see it for myself.

BoBo- Traditional Chinese Medicine shop cat
BoBo does a great job of keeping her shop free of pests and customers in good spirits.
Caturday visiting Hak Jai 黑仔
This tuck shop’s CEO is getting neutered tomorrow.
He’s too curious for his own good, always chasing birds and poking around like he owns the streets. Unfortunately, the busy roads here aren’t exactly a safe hunting ground.
Hopefully after surgery he’ll downgrade from explorer to napper.
Lazy shop life suits him better anyway.
Most of the time I take landscape photos, but I’ve been using more portrait lately — funny how a small shift can make things feel fresh again.

^ Cats from our shelter: Muju 妹豬, Pearl 珍珠, Big Brother 大佬, and Ball Ball 波波 - really hoping some good pictures can help them find their forever home sooner!
And below is Sum Sum and her kitten, also named Ball Ball 波波.
More of Hoi Sum’s baby kittens - 8 days old today!
Hoi Sum is only eight months old, rescued from the street. Shortly after her rescue, we found out she was pregnant.
My volunteer friend took Hoi Sum home from the shelter to foster her through labour, and I was there to help.
It was my very first time experiencing this, and it was both heartwarming and heartbreaking.
Out of four kittens, only two survived.
I’m happy for the new lives that made it into the world. But also sad for the ones who passed before they even had a chance to see it.
May 二哥 (Second Brother) and 四妹 (Fourth Sister) rest in peace.
一波 (the big sister) and 三折 (the third sister) will live on in their behalf.
Life feels fragile, yet miraculous, all at once.
Street FURtography is never just about cats— it’s also about the beautiful moments of the bonds between people and animals.
Each photo shows the city’s warmth and the joy woven into our everyday life.

Hak Jai enjoys laying in the middle of the sidewalk during rush hour. He knows this will get him lots of attention from people on their way to work. Probably worth being late for, honestly.
Hong Kong is more than neon light urban density at its best. It also has unbelievable natural beauty that’s easily accessible for us city dwellers. The Mai Po Nature Reserve has an incredible variety of birds and other wildlife. But dang is hot and humid in the summer. I thought about trying the water buffalo’s trick of covering yourself in mud. While the wetlands of northern Hong Kong remain preserved, the view of neighboring Shenzhen is rapidly changing.
