she leans in on the table, elbows resting on the surface as short legs swing back and forth over the edge of her chair. she’s already found such comfort in a strangers companionship. it was not that she was easily trusting, but more so a good judge of character. even at a young age, rin had been able to pick out those of good intentions ( it was their eyes she looked at / it is said that eyes are the gateway to the soul, after all. ) but then again, this stranger only seemed to reveal one eye; what else could he be hiding?
‘ Coffee? That’s no good!! Y’know, coffee is really bad for your health– Jaken-sama told me so! But, Sesshoumaru-sama’s brother– Inuyasha-sama, drinks a lot of coffee ( maybe that’s why he seems to be in a bad mood a lot? ) and Sesshoumaru-sama says he’s a… de-que-lint? Dequelint! But I think he’s a good person anyways. And that’s why you shouldn’t drink coffee! ’
‘ o-oh ! could you be trying to say delinquent ? haha i’m sure he’s not too bad besides coffee is actually really good. . . ’ hands raise suddenly, waving almost erratically. ‘ ah ! n-not that i recommend you drinking it if your guardian says no of course !! you’re really young so it’d probably be bad for you. ’
his fingers worry upon the coffee cup- sweating briefly, that had almost been bad. what if she decided to drink it ? he really didn’t want to be blamed for something like that. eye flickers about to his digits, clamping them once the act had been caught, bowing his head where a breath is sharply released. ‘ um can i ask you something though ? you address them really politely, isn’t that a little weird ? ’
