Youâre like the sunlight In my life Your face I seek It warms my heart  Youâre like the stars above Shining bright Giving me light so I Can find Your way in the night
Youâre Like (excerpt) ©Hannah Cooper 2001 (via mywritingcontribution)
{`his grin gets even wider if that was even possible as he scoots himself just a tad bit closer to the elder and turns to press a soft kiss to his temple with a breathless laugh.} And I've told you I wouldn't dream of it. I'm glad we're on the same page.
[/His eyelids fall closed as he feels the maleâs lips pressed on him, letting the corners of his lips twitch into a soft smile] âMhm.. Me too, gives me one less thing to worry about.. Thanks."
{`he blinks before he grins widely at the others words and nods his head slowly.} Yes... Exactly that right there and I wouldn't want it any other way.
[/He huffs amused at the male's words, feeling a warm blush taking over his cheeks behind the face mask as he sits down next to the youngest, letting his head tilt to lean it over the male's shoulder] "You better not.. Because like i've told you before, i'm not letting you leave.. Anyway."
{`plops down and looks around curiously.} I don't know why I never think to bug you here...
[/He tilts his head looking down at the male sitting there before an eyebrow raises at his words, letting his shoulders roll in an awkward shrug] "Because.. As you know, i almost never am here. I'm always with you.."
&Â melanie-ia
It was just another day, having yet another cup of coffee in the same cafe as always, frequent costumers would even leave the table he preferred empty for him to occupy it whenever he arrived, he attributed it to his intimidating looks, but whatever the reason, he was actually grateful. His chin was resting comfortably over the palm of his hand while his elbow remained propped on the surface, the other hand lazily stirring the remains of his now warm coffee in the cup while his gaze was fixed on the void outside the window, the blurs that the people walking pass became catching his attention from time to time. It took him a moment too long to recognize certain face that reflected on the window, his eyebrows furrowed as he perked up, gaze completely focused on the womanâs face until it finally sank in his mind who she was.Â
Slowly, he turned his head to look at the inside of the cafĂ©, where the female was eagerly chatting with whom he thought were her school friends near the front counter. There were mixed feelings swirling on his stomach, it had being more than a year since the last time he had seen her, he feared she might even hate him for the way he disappeared without saying a word, but perhaps this was a second chance, one he knew he couldnât waste. Luck seemed to be on his side when he noticed her companions walking ahead while she stayed in front of the counter, exchanging words with the employee behind it, so he got up on his feet, still feeling that uncomfortable swirl on his stomach as he walked the distance between them in a few steps, a hand hesitantly reaching for her shoulder, where pale slim fingers tapped at a few times in an attempt of getting her attention âSweets..?â He called for her rather shyly, in case there was the chance that he had mistook her for someone else, even if he knew he hadnât âMelanie, is it... Really you?â

â = Youâre beautiful.
âAh...â He heaved a surprised yet quiet sigh, he wasnât used to compliments, he wasnât even sure when had being the last time he had gotten one. He couldnât help but wonder at what kind of beauty the stranger can be referring to. âYou... Must not know me or not havenât talked with me muchâ He muttered, when his mind made itâs decision on taking a guess âThis must be merely aesthetic, since i am pretty sure if you knew me, you would know thereâs no beauty left inside. Nonetheless, i am grateful for your comment.âÂ

Lucy was never a morning person. She set three alarms spaced out over two hours just to make sure she rolled out of bed on time. Typically, she needed about an hour to herself just to slip in and out of fleeting dreams and muster up the motivation to face the day. As far as what had happened the night before, she was blissfully unaware, but it was safe to assume some form of alcohol was involved. A vice for humans but a poison for her, even a little bit was enough to knock her out until her body could filter it out.
Curled up in a ball, the alien was in the midst of a particularly pleasant dream when reality suddenly started to call. Her brow creased in distress as a squeal of a groan pushed past pouting lips. Then, there was a physical nudge and her prince charming rode away back into the safety of her subconscious. âEonni, justâŠfive more minutesâŠâ her groggy voice pleaded. As a precaution, the woman turned over on her side and nestled against the couch just in case, who she thought was, her boss tried any funny business.
But when her dream refused to reanimate itself, she heard the voice much more clearly. Odd, it didnât sound feminine enough. Something fishy was going on here⊠Swallowing hard, the redhead very reluctantly peeled her eyes open. Where was she? A couch? Then⊠Ever so slowly, she turned to glance over her shoulder and right into the face of a man. Her boss wasnât married.
With a sharp gasp, the princess immediately flung herself upright and tossed her arms around her torso for some semblance of modesty despite still being fully clothed. âW-Where am I?â she breathed, doe eyes wide with obvious confusion.
He got startled by her sudden jolt, a noticeably flinch being given by his body as his arm retreated, however the sudden commotion and his position made him lose balance, feet slipping forward, making his rear collide with the wooden floor, but if that wasnât enough, the strength with which he had fallen managed to make his back and head throw back, hitting his head with the surface of the coffee table with a thud that got accompanied by the painful hiss that slipped past his lips, this couldnât have happened again, just his luck.Â
His eyes were tightly squeezed closed as he leaned forward, back hunched as he allowed his hand to reach behind his head to rub his nape, trying to soothe the pain, this was a complete dĂ©jĂ Â vĂș. ââŠYou have to be kidding meâ He mumbled under his breath, eyes fluttering open to then let his gaze slowly lift, following the curves of her body until it fixed on her absolutely surprised expression, which immediately gave away that she also had no idea of how had she ended there, this situation was going to be hard to decipher. âAm i... Going to have to wear a helmet.. Every time youâre around?â He spoke in between deep breaths, luckily this time the hit hadnât being that bad, there was no dizziness taking over his head nor weakness hindering his body, thus he was avid on get back up on his feet, although his hand continued with the rubbing and soothing motion on the back of his head.Â
âWhat⊠Are you doing here?â His eyebrows were lightly dipped, a mixture of confusion and curiosity taking over him, there must be a crazy explanation as for why had she ended up sleeping on his couch, how had she managed to find his place and get inside, to begin with. His hand slowly lowered, but instead of dropping to his side it curled over his chest, followed by the other, gaze stern, fixed on hers, he could seem mad at the moment, intimidating even but he was mostly worried for her wellbeing ( As he had realized he really had no memories of the night before at all, probably alcohol had being involved, as usual ), even though she didnât seemed like the type of girl of doing the things that were crossing his mind ( From previous experiences ) it was better be safe than sorry, and he hoped she had some type of positive answer to give him ââŠWell?â

âV-vroom~, vrooooooooom. How do you    keep on going when you donât want to?                 To drive or not to drive?    Off the  c l i f f ? Up the hill?â                     - Delirium chewed on her bottom lip for a moment.    âAre you brave? Iâm hungry. When Iâm hungry    Iâm making up pasta names. Do you want one?â
His usually dormant mind was no match for her babbling, Leo had learned by now to only grasp on the last bits of her conversation as trying to understand her fully would usually give him a headache. âIâm confusedâŠâ He admitted, it wasnât the first time, and it definitely wasnât going to be the last time she had that effect on him. âAre you asking me if i want to make up the name of pasta⊠Or if i want to eat some...?â His eyebrows were notoriously furrowed under the tips of his fringe, although her first words lingered on the back of his mind, they had given him something deep to think about, yet again. âDo you think iâm brave..?â

â for my museâs reaction to finding yours asleep on their couch.
He was taking his time with that cigarette, it was the last one of his pack, and at this time of the night no stores would be open, sitting on the emergency stairs of the building, legs dangling from the edge, forehead pressed against the cold rail. Any normal person would be comfortably tucked in bed, peacefully sleeping, but not him. He had slept a few hours a couple of days back, so now he was enjoying the quietness of his favorite place on his apartment ( Ironically it was technically outside ).Â
He held onto the last drag of the cigarette, crushing the remains of it on the metal surface at his side before leaving it there, heâd clean up, eventually. The smoke finally left his lungs through a heavy sigh, and a shiver ran down his spine, making his whole body tremble, hands lifting to curl around his own slim body, hugging his shoulders, for a summer night it was weirdly cold that night, or perhaps his worn out body was just sensitive, he decided on blamed it on the first option. Lazily, accompanied with a quiet groan, he forced himself up, arms stretching over his head, shoulders lightly cracking before his arms dropped back onto his sides, he had nothing to do now, no one to call or text at this time of the night, and as he made his way back into the apartment ( having to climb up a window ), he decided on start reading a book he had purchased not so long ago, but had never left the bag in which it was delivered.
His steps were slow, feet almost dragging on the wooden floor as he made his way through the small hall towards the part of the room that passed for a living room, the bag containing the book had being resting on the small coffee table since the day he bought it. His intentions ( And steps ) were interrupted, however, when his gaze fixed on the blonde locks that contrasted against the black fabric of the only couch on his living room, unable to see the face of the woman who appeared to be sleeping there, as she faced the backrest of the couch. He didnât realized his own breathing had come to a halt until he saw her shoulders slightly moving up and down, accompanied her slow breathing, which made him let out the breath he had holding on at her same pace, a feeling of relief washing over him, even though if he wasnât really sure why.
One of his arms curled around his middle, the other had bended to lift his hand and place it over his mouth, eyebrows lightly dipped, gaze fixed on the sleeping woman as he had stood behind the couch in an attempt to see her face to identify her, which he did. It hadnât being many times they had held a conversation, and he couldnât remember having mentioned her where he lived, he could only wonder how had she found his place, and why would she ever end up there to begin with. There was only one way to find out. âYah⊠What was your name again?â He questioned out loud, more to himself than to her since she, of course, was still sleeping, however he was soon to remember, and the hand that hovered over his lips lowered to her shoulder, hesitantly at first but he gripped on her shoulder, shaking her a little, trying to be as gentle as possible âSe⊠Serene, wake upâ He called for her, once, twice, no answer. âYah, you have to get up.. How do you even got here?âÂ
