Kiss Me - Sweet Pea Imagine
The soft morning light was only just spilling into the room, a plethora of warm oranges and yellows coating the white bed sheet completely.
And hold me in your arms.
Sweet Pea stirred in his sleep, the slight weight on his chest making him panic for a moment, but after opening his tired eyes and looking down, calmed at the sight before him. He had fallen asleep once again at (Y/N)'s, preferring the calmness and normality of the residence compared to what he was used to. They laid in his arms, face tucked into the crook of his neck, mouth slightly agape and face tranquil in sleep.

I'm falling for your eyes, but they don't know me yet
And with a feeling I'll forget, I'm in love now
Sweet Pea took a moment to admire the person who slept so peacefully, his arms tightening around their frame and pressing their chests closer together. (Y/N) grumbled, shuffling closer to Sweet Pea, leg draping over his hip absent-mindedly. He felt them place a number of tired, wet kisses on his neck, making a slight chuckle escape his lips.
Kiss me like you wanna be loved
(Y/N) groaned at the rousing of their slumber, not ready to fully wake up as the light from the window shone into their eyes. “Too early.” They mumbled, lifting up to press a light kiss onto his lips. They smiled tiredly down at him as they pulled back, only to kiss him once more, this time more deeper.
This feels like falling in love
He knew the word. He didn’t want to say it. No, he couldn’t say it. It burned on the tip of his tongue every time they smiled at him, corner of their eyes lifting in such a way it made him smile too. It burned on his tongue every time they would laugh at his jokes, such a sweet melody that bellowed out into the room. It burned on his tongue every time they would grab his hand and hold it tight, because they knew that’s what he needed. It consumed him entirely and fought to escape him every waking moment of every day because they were always with him.
“I love you.” He didn’t realize the words have left him, only clocking on as he took in (Y/N)’s slightly surprised stare. Whether it was his early-morning tiredness or his resolve which had seemingly crumbled within those slow seconds, he didn’t know, but what he did know was that he couldn’t take it back.

(Y/N) pressed against him so suddenly he could hardly react. Their hands gently held his head, his wrapping around their waist out of instinct, pulling them closer onto his chest. “I love you too, Sweet Pea” They whispered against his lips before their lips found his again. Sweet Pea let out a sigh of relief, opening his mouth whilst doing so and allowing (Y/N) to explore his mouth lovingly.
The early morning haze seemed to embrace them as they held onto each other; lovingly, desperately. All their pent up emotions of love and adoration seemed to burst and explode. Divine. Maybe he did know how to say that word after all.
