The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
3/? books read in 2023
i went into this work with high expectations and they were met. it’s world is devastating, and passiveness of the main character really made me stop, at times, to catch my breath. it is terrifyingly relevant to modern times, and there is a lot this book has to say. the prose/writing of the book itself is quite hauntingly beautiful. definitely recommend a read.
full february setup! the month of february feels pink to me.
my theme for this month can best be described as the small town next to a train station with a pink sky and crescent moon 🌙
