Shay: "A lot of effort you say? Hmm... I'm not sure I believe that. I think that I'm going to have to see this proof for myself some day," she teased with a small chuckle. "Wow, you just said that magic word. Pizza is pretty much my one weakness in life and you can never go wrong with a movie, so this date is already off to a fantastic start," she commented, stepping outside of her house with him and locking the door behind her.

Jon: "I think we can arrange for you to see all that in real time, though I gotta warn ya' I am not a morning person." He chuckled as he looked at her, it was easy to fall into conversations. "So you're a pizza gal, I do think we are going to get along just fine. Pizza and beer are the quickest way to my heart." Nodding his head some at her comment, "That is good to hear it's been a while since I planned any dates so wasn't sure if I was going in the right direction."

Shay: "Well thank you. What a gentleman," she said, taking the arm that he offered. "You look pretty great yourself, but from what I've witnessed the couple of times we've ended up in weird situations together, that's nothing new or surprising. Seems to just come natural," she complimented with a bit of a nervous chuckle. "So where are we going exactly? I don't think I actually know? I hope I'm not over dressed and should have worn hiking shoes or something."

Jon: "My mama didn't raise a fool." He stated with a small chuckle as he looked over at her with a smile, "Actually it takes a lot of effort to make this mug look good enough to be seen outside." He joked as he moved a hand to move in front of his face, before he letting his hand drop his smile still on his lips as he looked at her, "You know I actually didn't really have to set of a plan, but I was thinking we can grab a bite to eat at that pizza place around here and then see a movie?" He asked wanting to make sure they did something that she'd enjoy doing, "Though we can do hiking next date."

Shay: stood in front of her mirror, nervously biting on her lip and debating on if she should change her outfit for the third time. She had finally decided on a red button up dress that Serinda helped her pick out after texting her a million times. She had finally started to get over the pain of her last awful heartbreak and it was really scary to put herself out there again, but she did really like Jon, despite the ten year age gap. Plus, it didn't hurt that he was ridiculously handsome. After touching up her lipstick, she heard a knock at the door. Grabbing her purse, she walked over to it, took a breath, and opened it. "Hello there," she smiled.

Jon: gave a quick run of his hand down the front of his shirt, it had been a while since he did the whole date thing so he was a little nervous. He really liked Shay and he was looking forward to seeing where all this was going to lead, he just hoped that their gap wouldn't get in the way. When she opened the door he gave a smile, "Hey there." He stated before he gave her a quick once over before he was holding out his arm to her, "You look amazing by the way."

Jon: gave himself another glance over in the mirror making sure his green plaid shirt was laying flat and not wrinkled, before he placed his wallet and phone into his pocket, he was happy to be finally being able to go on a proper date with Shay that didn't come from getting locked in a room together or just bumping into each other. Grabbing his keys before heading over to her house and parked out front before he made his way up to her door and gave it a quick knock before smiling waiting for her to answer the door.

What’s your go to pick up move?

I don’t think I really have a go to when it comes to that. Oh man I don’t know, smile at them, make eye contact and compliment them on something. I don’t like to do pick up lines though unless it’s all fun and games.
