Wanna One - I Promise You ( Confession/Propose Ver ) | I Promise You regular 

Wanna One is an 11 member project group that debuted last year after the top 11 won produce 101season 2.  The members consist of Kang Daniel, Park Ji hoon, Lee Dae hwi, Kim Jae hwan, Ong Seong wu, Park Woo jin, Lai Kaun lin, Yoon Ji sung, Hwang Min hyun, Bae Jin young and Ha Sung woon ( in order from their ranks ). To say that wanna one has been a national hit is an understatement. They are one of the best project groups to have debuted ever. It’s going to be really sad once they disband in December, but it’s their golden age time right now, so wannables, let’s join the time we have with ot11.

I.P. U was pre-released earler this month and was a more upbeat type of ballad song, but this confession ver is the vocals that we needed in our lives. This song is so amazing. It’s really heartwrenching, especially knowing that our time with wanna one is limited so the lyrics hits even harder. I honestly cried listening to this song even before I knew the meaning of it. Wanna one has truly been a blessing and will forever be one of my top groups. 

This is a perfect song to dedicate to anyone who has really impacted your life and has changed you for the better after you’ve struggled for so long. You can now be there for the person that has always been there for you. Or if you and your s/o are no longer together but they still have impacted your life for the better, this song can be a good reminder that even if you are not together, the time spent together made you grow better as a better.

A.C.E ‘s 5tar Incompletion ver | completed ver 

This is twice an emotional song for me. First, because it’s a soft yet still heartwrenching ballad song. And secondly, because this is a.c.e’s first ballad song. 

A.C.E is a 5 member group who debuted last year but have been pretty active pre-debut with busking and posting cover videos on youtube. They have two single albums ( Cactus and Callin), both are limited edition and only 1000 copies were made for each ( so the odds of finding one now is low and if you find one, it’s probably going for around 200 dollars. Luckily, I’ve been able to pre-order both each time they came out. A.C.E is a group that I’ve been following since pre-debut and will continue on following and supporting ) 

This song is called 5tar to symbolize the 5 stars that A.C.E has, which consist of jun, donghun, sehyoon, jason and chan.The boys wrote this song and it is called incompletion because in the official audio (where you can buy here if you have itunes), chan is not heard in the song and that is because chan is going to debut in a project group called UNB (which I’m very excited about, they’ll be debuting next month), which originated from the survival show called the Unit. Due to this, chan cannot promote with A.C.E until UNB is done. However, their seoul concert was preplanned so Chan was able to come and sing and hence why it is called the completed ver.  Donghun and Jason are also gonna be in a YG project group, but no word on when is that gonna happen. 

But enough of my rambling. 

When I first heard the preview of this song, I knew that I was going to love it. But after listening after I purchased it, wow, honestly. It’s beyond amazing. I felt like this was a song that was written for someone like me? Then after listening to it with the lyrics, I realized that wow, A.C.E really knew how we, choices, really are feeling. These are some of the lyrics that personally spoke to me 

Its not that they didn’t know they just didn’t care enough to know

That really spoke to me on levels that made me really appreciate A.C.E even more than I already do. I hope for A.C.E to continue on creating music that can help others heal as well as music that can always bring happiness into the lives of whoever listens to them. 

This is a messy post, but no words can ever truly do justice to A.C.E or to an amazing ballad song such as this. Be sure to support and listen A.C.E! <#3

I created this blog specifically to keep track of my favorite korean ballads as well as to recommend some to whoever may be reading this. I love kpop but kballads are close and dear to my heart. I can listen to them nonstop.
