Man, seashells are really cool

Here's my finished seashell painting for my college color class! This was my first time ever painting seashells, and boy was it difficult lol. I don't think they turned out too bad though.

Graphic I made as a commission for Danny Savery Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! They're holding a master class on half guard, so I decided to go with a two halves of a whole/two sides of the same coin type of design with a guy in a gi and a knight bearing the academy's logo. This graphic is going to go on all of the flyers advertising the master class, as well as all of the event passes that are being handed out to those attending. This was my first official job, and I'm really happy with how it turned out!

Some ink wash doodles I did for a homework assignment! I drew everything out in fountain pen first, then went back over it with a wet paintbrush to do the shading.

Thanks to the blizzard hitting pretty much the entirety of New England right now, I had enough time on my hands to complete the chromatic version of my color study portrait! I like the grayscale one a lot more, but it was still pretty fun to make.

Vengeful Spirit of Ma'inka

I know this design technically belongs to the dragon-eels, but I feel like it also matches the description of the phoenix-eels from the Yangchen novels. This is one of the finished prints from a drypoint etching project I did for my printmaking class.

Currently working on a lithography printmaking project using a pronto plate. I just finished drawing on the plate, and hopefully, everything will go well when I start printing. Wish me luck!

So this project ended up falling apart because our teacher at the time didn't have much experience with lithography himself. It started out fine, but as people started printing, things got chaotic---half the class (including myself) didn't get to print theirs. I might try printing it on my own eventually, but for right now, it's just a grease pen drawing on a plate.

Another high school piece (I've been trying to catch up on posting some older work) - a scratch board of Kazumi Mishima from Tekken. In hindsight, I could've blended the values on her hair and face a little better, but overall, I'd say it came out pretty decent! This was probably one of my favorite projects that I did while I was there.
