Doll-Self
childhood, adolescence, adulthood
blood red thread for symbolism of blood, of something alive. Of anger maybe, the viewer can decide.
The self changes and morphs over time. The accumulation of thread onto the last figure represents a heightening in emotional chaos, and struggle. My self as I know it. Changing and hard to understand by each growth and death.

depression is trying to create but not being able to love what u do. So you end up in the middle of it all, waiting, sitting, trying.
But it is still, and your inner dialogue writing the story of your importance and existence simply stops.
Death with Girl in Her Lap, Käthe Kollwitz
Illness makes you feel your story is empty and vapid, worthless. Your life is a story, is it being told or do you create it. These are questions of anxiety of future and being a human being. Mental sorrow makes the stories in your life, love, pain, sadness, happiness, solace ,feel,, like nothing, putting emotions on paper.
Time moves on, life’s pages change every second, new words are creased and drawn into our souls every day.

trying to use oil, cuz it’s beautiful and texture is so fun. Stay still and cry, movement in tears, in our faces, is our face our most evident book for reading emotion
