Back in Belgium
Hey!!
Good to be back, but still going to miss the ASV..:
After a good flight with some turbulence, we landed well and safely back in Belgium.
The last few days it was very rainy in Valencia, so being back with this warm and sunny weather is nice coming home.
Again, I would like to thank everyone who gave us this oppurtinity.

The last week

It's our last week here in Valencia :(
This week went by so quick, at Tuesday our teachers arrived in Valencia and came by to say hello.
Thursday morning went good like always, but then around 10am they rang the bell at our intership the ASV. It was my job to talk and let them in.
They had a meeting with our supervisors. Where they evaluated us together, discussing the past 3 internship weeks.
Both of us have been told we were very helpful and did a good job! Glad to hear that!
We signed our certificates and took a picture together.
With only one day left, we had to say goodbye to our lovely colleagues
This weekend on Saturday morning it is time to go back to Belgium
Thanks to the ASV for having us, and our teachers to give us this beautiful oppurtunity!
About last week

Here I am again. I didn't post last week, but now our last weekend here in Valencia.
This week I helped the reception person in charge of high school documents, with stamping the certifications for the graduating students (which I will continue Monday).
We started our weekend really good with some fries and snacks! (vrijdag = frietjes) :)
Flabia and I went to a nail salon and had our nails done, much cheaper but just as beautiful as in Belgium
Sunday (today) Flabia, Emma and I went for now the last time to the beach. We will miss Valencia a lot!!

The weekend just passed by.
Saturday morning we slept in, after a good breakfast we went shopping. Glad our appartment is close to the stores.
We ordered some food and got ready to watch the spectacular but really beautiful fireworks. We watched the Eurosongfestival.
After that we ended the day to get sleep.
Sunday at 12 o’clock we made us ready for a relaxing beach day. We rented bikes and cycled trough the city, heading to the beach.
After sunbathing, getting tanned it was time to search for a restaurant.
Cycling safely back to the appartment, we arrived, ready for the second week internship at ASV.

After arriving in this beautiful Valencia, it is time to work and learn. Yesterday we met our internship mentors, so nice and kind.
We were very well welcomed with some sweets, fruits and drinks!! Lovable!
In the beginning, I was not given many tasks just observing things. At 1PM we went to the teachers diningroom and got hot lunch served, delicious!
Every morning, we are picked up by the teacher bus that takes us to the school and back to the centre.

Hello, the first post on Spanish ground. After our flight at Eindhoven Airport was cancelled and we had to go to Amsterdam, which is a 2 hour-drive. But it went all good!
With a good landing, we started our exciting adventure here in Valencia.
After we settled in our appartment, it was time to have dinner (go search for mr. Sterckx ;)

Hi i'm Kaat i am an 18 year-old student. I am going to tell you guys more about my internship.
The American school of Valencia is an international school. It is an English-speaking school created in 1980 by a group of visionary families and teachers who were committed to create the first English-speaking school in Valencia.
Tomorrow it is time to head off to Valencia I'm looking forward to the 3-week during internship.
