Kageno's backstory and account information
Ok this is all OOC, and there are a lot of trigger warnings, including child abuse, of the physical, emotional and sexual kind, of a child as young as 5, incest, pedophilia mentions, suicide, self harm, manipulation and forced human experimentation. None of this is sexualized, glorified or treated as a joke by myself, while Kageno may joke about his trauma it is a way of coping, i am by no means making it any less heavy than it is supposed to be. This all is following the headcanon/fan theory that AFO has molested Tomura and has had very complicated and often incestuous thoughts about his younger brother before. Finally, Kageno is a trans man, and any transphobia will not be tolerated.

Kageno's early life was anything besides easy, being born to a family in a loveless marriage and by accident, she was never wanted, her mother viewed her as a reminder of her past and her father viewed her as a curse. she was given the name Noroi Aki, Noroi, a name meaning curse, and Aki, the family name.
Noroi's father was a cruel man, running the household with an iron fist and getting into constant screaming matches with his wife, a woman who was anything but strong, having been sick for several years before Noroi's birth, and when she turned 5 her mother died leaving her alone with her father.
After the first week he began to treat Noroi as a replacement wife, expecting a young child to do everything a grown woman would, including fulfilling all sexual desires he may have.. Noroi nearly lost her voice screaming for the first month, each moment making her wish more than anything that her father was dead instead of her mother.. The only peace was when that man was away, while she was expected to care for the house she'd spend it watching movies or coloring on the walls, anything to defy her father, even if the aftermath would be painful.
Her quirk manifested late, at 7 years old, by then her father believed she had no quirk.. As she was backed into a corner after once again trying to fight back against him her quirk activated for the first time, sawblades pressing into her skin painfully and before she realized what she was doing she had grabbed the blades and drove them as deep into her father as she could.. She didn't stay long enough to see the aftermath.. to see that he was dead and that she was free now, she just ran as fast as she could, nothing but a torn shirt wrapped around her small figure.
She had little idea of what to do after that, she had thought of going to the police, but her father had always said they'd do nothing as he worked for them.. A fact she was not willing to test if it were true or not.. She didn't know what other place there was, so she wandered the streets, each person who looked away hurting more and more.. Even heros would look away, was she really not worth saving?
Someone did reach out.. over and over again this man reached out to her.. he looked so cool too! Noroi loved him for the first few years of him appearing, it was never for long, but the man would always show up to give Noroi what she needed.. no, no what he needed.. Noroi liked when he was called a boy, the man did it the first time they met, and he didn't bother with a correction..
On the fourth year he was taken in after months of having to fend for himself, he was mostly dead, hair almost entirely white due to stress, and he was pale as a ghost.. All for One, that's what Noroi learned the man's name was, and he was given new clothes, ones too big for him and that looked worn before.. but he didn't question it at first.. and he was told to pick a new name, that his old one would not be needed anymore.. "Kageno" was what he chose, wild shadow, that's what he was told it meant, and he liked it that way..
It didn't take long for Kageno to be called to see AFO in private for the first time, for the man to style his hair for him in a way that was weird, he didn't understand why AFO never let him do his own hair! he wasn't helpless anymore, he was 11 years old now and thought he knew everything. it became clear during the second week what the real purpose of his "rescue" was..
The first time AFO touched him he was told it was love.. that he was gentle and only doing this to make Kageno feel calm.. even if it made him squirm in his lap he didn't fight back, after all AFO had rescued him.. and he was being gentler than his father ever was.. The second time was different, painful and intense while he cried for it to stop.. after that he was called brother before AFO sent him off to bed..
This cycle continued, besides the "meetings" Kageno had freedom, a "good" life, and was allowed whatever he liked so long as he played the part.. he couldn't take it.. it hurt so fucking much he wanted to explode.. to rip and tear his flesh apart until he was nothing, until no one could ever want him again..
Fresh wounds covered his arms and legs, no matter how Kurogiri hid the knives from him he found a way for more, his quirk was helpful that way.. but no matter what it didn't help, AFO only told him that now he would be the only one who could ever like Kageno, that he was worthless beyond serving him until Kageno began to believe it..
His body was found hanging in his room a month before his 12th birthday, it was a final attempt to escape for good, for people to stop using him to replace the dead and be used as a toy! .. instead of that he was taken by Garaki and turned into a nomu, nothing about his looks changed besides one dark line on the back of his neck.. but he was given a second quirk, a copy of warp gate, a quirk he couldn't control, so that even if he ran away he would never be able to use his quirks normally again.. and the cycle started again..
At 13 Kageno had enough, he was tired of being treated like nothing, beaten down until he would sit there and let the abuse happen, letting himself be used as a doll.. he went to Kurogiri for help, he trusted the man.. he was kind and took care of him well.. he changed his appearance, his once white hair was dyed to black and red, the furthest colors he could think of to how AFO wanted him to look, and he convinced Kurogiri to let him give himself piercings, 2 on his lips, fangs so he could bite if AFO ever tried to force himself into his mouth again, and one on his cheek.. the first of a counter he'd keep, one piercing for each time AFO raped him.. he wouldn't just lay there anymore, he would bite rip and tear at the man even if it killed him, the pain kept him going, so long as he hurt he knew he was still human, that he wasn't a plaything anymore.. 2 years later he was allowed to meet Tomura Shigaraki, AFO was growing tired of Kageno's acts of rebellion, even after he had killed the boy twice for it, so he figured giving him a friend could help. The two got on awfully, they would fight over everything.. and yet Kageno started to seem happier, someone else his age to speak with gave him the relief that he needed, and he finally grew confident enough to go outside again where he met a girl a few years younger than himself.. Toga she said her name was, she'd gladly go along with what he wanted to do, and he'd often go out to see her.. she was an escape from everything, as much as he wanted her to have a home he didn't tell her about AFO, that place was no home, so he'd walk the streets with her, showing her how to survive there..
By the time the league formed Kageno had long become a different person from when he was a child, 19 now he was deadly, and even without full control of warp gate he could kill people without them noticing he was there most times. When he saw Toga was part of the league he couldn't say anything.. all he could do was welcome her to hell and try to keep her safe..

Now for a better explanation of his quirks, he always has 2, his original, and a copy of warp gate, but AFO often gives him others depending on the situation.
Dusk blades: His original quirk, it allows him to produce sawblades from his skin that he is able to manipulate fully, changing their size, shape, and moving them around, he's got almost perfect control of this quirk most of the time, but it takes most of his energy, he's also able to summon upwards of 100 sawblades at once now, however it drains him of energy quickly, the blades also do not disappear should his quirk be erased, or if he passed out, he would just lose control of them.
Warp gate: Kurogiri's quirk, however his copy works oddly, as he's able to manifest the portals onto his blades most of the time.

Owner's info: I'm very autism, use he/they pronouns, and am overall a disaster, disrespect will not be tolerated, i will not be giving out my main blog (but its pretty easy to find LMAO-), as i'd like to keep that separate from this account, however i do have another rp blog which is @endeavorsbiggesthater (and like.. 3 more but shhh)
Kageno's info: He's 19/20 (19 until season 5, he turns 20 after the mla fight), he uses he/they pronouns, but heavily prefers he/him, he's omnisexual, with a preference for men, and he's a huge brat but also a huge flirt

He heavily prefers LOV members, he will talk to people from the MLA but he's not super friendly with all of them with the exception of Geten
If you play as AFO he will act like a complete bitch, he is genuinely terrified of that man and reacts in anger
Kageno flirts with most people, including several heros, and he has a hard time taking anything seriously, including talks about his trauma, which he usually treats like jokes
While he may act like a brat towards a lot of people it's usually a sign he cares if he's not being genuinely mean and awful, just put him in his place or give him affection, either way it'll shut him up
Most UA students know him as Noroi Aki, as he has gone undercover there before, pretending to have been kidnapped by villains for years and only finally escaped, the UA teachers have found out about the truth, however they covered it up for the students, so they still think that Noroi and Kageno are separate people
