Santos is one of the angriest people you are ever going to meet.
Nice save, Robby You too, Trinity
Conversation carried out throughout the shift
I think a farmboy deserves to be tortured psychologically by two lesbians actually
TRINITY SANTOS & YOLANDA GARCIA THE PITT 2.09 – 3:00 P.M.
THE PITT (2025-) 2.09 | 3:00 P.M.
what if you were having a BAD DAY at WORK and then your LESBIAN SITUATIONSHIP said NO FIREWORKS DATE let’s keep it CASUAL and then you got invited to a FURRY CONVENTION
they’re best friends! (in my head..)
my honest opinion is that all fictional romantic couples should be separated by death and the surviving one should develop an unhealthy and offputting obsession with the dead one's rotting corpse
i just don't think it's that serious unless they're leaping into the grave in the middle of the funeral and begging to be buried alive alongside them or sleeping next to the bloated putrefying remains of their dearly beloved for decades
media literacy is dying because a lot of the time the point of the media is plain to see like it's painted out for you! but people want to look sooo intellectual and deep they'd go "erm actually ☝️ no" then completely make something up.
exhibit a: all the "maturing is realizing glinda was actually the villain" takes. yes she's a jackass. but the villain is clearly the wizard and morrible. if the movie 'glazed' glinda that's because to a certain point, even if she's not your favorite, you're still supposed to root for her and like her.
exhibit b: "tashi was the villain in challengers" ? no one was the villain in the movie
"i asked chat gpt" oh yeah well i asked glinda the good and she started talking about her roommate in college and how much she misses her. then she started crying. it was kind of weird. i didn't even ask about that
Once again mourning Morrible's part in Thank Goodness that got cut because:
Not only does is give non-musical viewers an idea about how they spun the story/origin of the wicked witch and Glinda the Good, it also shows the start of the deterioration of Glinda and Fiyero's relationship much, much clearer.
It seriously is just never a good idea to cast someone who can't sing for a musical movie no matter how good of an actress they are
ultimately the biggest issue with the wicked act ii movie is that it was an adaptation of wicked act ii
Reading the screenplay for WFG right now and this part sends me because I remember someone pointing out that Gliyero's engagement was announced in Munchkinland so why did Boq find out through the newspaper? As governor, shouldn't Nessa be there at the announcement?
watched wicked for good and the most devastating thing for me personally was just the visual representation of how desperate elphaba and glinda were for one another
like, in every scene as much as the film has to follow the conventional fiyero/elphaba ship, you constantly see elphaba looking back for glinda. there's multiple scenes where elphaba will turn around and look behind her, searching for the presence of glinda to ground her, up until the final scene where once she's 'got the guy' she STILL turns around and seeks out glinda.
in contrast, glinda would always be looking forward and out in the distance for any semblance of elphaba. the two of them are shown to be such parallels to one another that even when the scene was empty, we're visually shown that they're seeking the other out even when the plot is telling us their attention should be elsewhere
