This is a ask blog about the mew Kahurangi and her friends/family living in a pokemon sanctuary. MULTIVERSE IS REAL! (aka-my mews have some minor differences from other mews.)

This is my first tumblr blog, so sorry if I’m clueless. ^w^;;;

Note: I used to love pokemon (mostly the games), but fell away from it, so I’m somewhat clueless when it comes to later generations, and have filled in my own headcannon, such as with mews. Please be kind. <3

The sanctuary is located between Kanto and Johto in the north, in a valley in the mountains.

"Honestly, I didn't understand how she could EVER be scary..." She chuckled.

"...I was wrong"

"Hm?" Kahurangi hummed, noticing a small konpeito on the counter.

"Hm? The starfall festival? Wishes come true huh?" Kahurangi mused. "That sounds nice, but I don't have any wishes to make... I'm already happy, so I leave it to someone else." She chuckled, setting it down and starting to float away, before freezing. "Wait. Wish. Nedeljko..." She breathed in realization, whipping around to stare at the konpeito again, wonder and hope in her eyes.

Kahurangi gently scooped the konpeito into her paws, clasping it between them as she prayed. "Oh starfall festival. Please, hear my wish. My son is a hybrid. As far as I know the only one in our whole world. A rarity. I fear... I fear one day he will attract the attention of unsavory sorts who would want to own him as a rarity, or even worse. Experiment... I do not want to change him. He is wonderful and perfect just the way he is. But... but if there's any way... I would wish for something that could hide his appearance when he desires. Or that he could learn the move transform. I know I cannot control his life. He has to make his own choices. But please, please. Give him that safety."

After a minute, Kahurangi opened her eyes. "First things first," she murmured, transforming into an espeon. "Alright. Let's go."

"Auntie Rangi, auntie Rangi!" The growlithe shouted, rushing in the door, causing the blue mew's fur to poof out in surprise. "Clover!" She said, her voice slightly scolding. "You startled me." "Sorry auntie, but look what I found!" "What is it?" The blue scorbunny hybrid asked, trotting over to see. "Oh, Nedeljko! It's an invitation!" The growlithe said, placing the open invitation on the ground for the others to see. "An invitation to what?" Rangi asked, floating over to read it. "A beach party!" Clover said, spinning in circles in excitement. "Can we go? Can we go?! I wanna go! I wanna go!" "That sounds awesome!" Nedeljko said, joining in. "Mama, can we go? Can we go?! Please?!" Rangi picked up the invitation, reading through it, her tail swishing back and forth while she considered it. "Clover, have you asked your mother about this?" "Yep! She said I could go! But she told me to bring you too! So can we?!" "Mama, I wanna go too!" Rangi sighed. "Alright, we can go, but you two have to promise to listen to me, ok?" "Yay!" The two children cheered.

"Here we are." Rangi said, pausing before setting the kids down on the sand, making sure they were paying attention to her. "Now remember. Stay where I can see you, and unless I am with you, you cannot go past your knees in the water!" "Okay!" The two said, hardly able to keep their eyes from drifting towards the sea. "Alright." Rangi sighed, finally setting them down. As soon as they were free of her psychic grasp, the ran towards the ocean.

Decided to change ???'s coloring a bit. Definitely like this a bunch more than the original. I felt like there was too much blue on the original version. Especially the face.

Tried figuring out the future Mewtwo character's details. He's a Mewtwo/Meowstic fusion. It'll be awhile before he shows up, but I got a bit of inspiration, so I used it. Did this take me 3 days to make? Yes. My brain didn't really want me to work for longer than like 5 min at a time.

Still not completely sure about the coloring. His name is in the list, so feel free to guess his name! <3

Kahurangi cross stitch! I took a pattern I found online and edited it to fit Rangi a bit more - bigger ears, floof tail.

I actually have the outline for 3 more of these done, debating what color to use. If anyone has requests, let me know!

[QuestionableFlareon] Wren scampers over, marveling at the mew floating above her. "Oh wow! Cats that can fly! Beautiful amazing!" the flareon scampers around in a circle before continuing to speak. "So you're like.. a big deal amongst pokemon right? Bein.. godly n whatnot. So I bet you have a bunch of cool stuff right? Like what is the coolest or most prized thing that you own or got? I gotta know I'm nosey!" The flareon wiggles her tail in excitement

"Hi there." Kahurangi said, lowering herself to look Wren in the eyes. "Godly, huh? I wouldn't say that." She chuckled. "Maybe some mew are, but I'm definitely not. Anyway… my coolest, most prized thing huh… I don't know if I have anything like that…" She mused. "Huh? What are you talking about Rangi? Isn't it that doll you made?" Andromeda the arcanine cut in from where she was laying next to them. "Wha-what are you talking about?!" Rangi yelled in embarrassment. "Come on, why don't you show them? It's really cute!" "… Fine…" Kahurangi said, flying away. "She cut the fabric from the curtains to make it!" Andromeda laughed. "It was only the part that was behind the couch. You couldn't see it." Rangi defended herself as she came back. "Heheh," Andromeda chuckled. "Gramps was so mad." "I had never been around humans before." Rangi replied. "Anyway, here it is." she said, holding up a yellow mew doll.

"It's not the best made, but… I still like it…" Kahurangi said embarrassed.

( @asktheisle ) Draco blinks a few times-she wasn't imaging the Mew, that was certainly one right in front of her. The Garchomp makes as much effort possible to appear harmless in hopes of not scaring Kahurangi. "I've only heard of Mew existing before, but I've never seen one until now. I've heard they're usually pink, so I have to guess that you might be shiny? Is that why you're here in this sanctuary? I know shinies have a harder time out in the wild-at least that's what's said."

"Oh, hello. Yeah I guess mews are pretty rare." Kahurangi chuckled. "While many mews in other worlds are pink and only blue as shinies, mews here can be any color. Like red, green, blue… yellow."

"Well, even ignoring my colors it's true that it can be hard for mew's to be out on their own. So, that's definitely a perk of this place. Not to mention, some human food is delicious!" She laughs.

"By the way, I don't think I've ever seen a garchomp with such a large yellow mark on their snout. It's really unique and cool." She said excitedly, her hands/paws clasped together and her tail wagging in excitement.

In this universe, there are no shiny mews, mews can come in any color.
