He undoubtedly wasn’t a match for Kaiden in strength, but he twisted his arm around the hand on his collar regardless in an attempt to free himself from the other’s grip. “ Dude, get the fuck off me. Honestly, don’t touch me. ” His voice sounded braver than he felt and he backed away a couple feet, not turning his back on Kaiden again. He figured he could outrun him if it came to it. He’d always been a pretty good runner. “ Get the fuck out. ”
Kaiden decided to let go of Nick, backing off like the other asked him to with his hands up in surrender. However, the way his lips turned upwards into an evil smile gave away he didn’t come in peace. He took a few steps back as he looked at the other, lowering his hands again. “See, that’s all the answers I needed,” he said in a low tone, smile still in place. With that, Kaiden turned on his heel to leave the shop, smile slipping off his features as he did so. “I’m getting the dog food somewhere else.”
“ I don’t know what everyone’s been saying. Probably a lot of things, knowing people. That the moon landing is fake? Most likely isn’t. Whether they experimented on people with LSD to figure out mind control? Most likely. But we’re not gonna know. Our government keeps things like that pretty well locked up. Anyway, hear that? Before Nick was able to turn his back on him, Kaiden yanked him by the collar to make him face him again. He looked him in the eye, not letting go of the fabric as his face moved uncomfortably closer. “So you really are that dumb. I’ve probably not made myself clear enough. You’re new in town, so I was lenient since you don’t know how it works around here, but I’m not someone you simply turn your back on. Especially when I was not done talking to you. I was asking you if you’re a girl underneath all of that.”
“ That’s usually a pretty subjective question. I’d answer yes, but I know a lot of people who’d swear on the contrary.·”

kaiden grew up in clarendon hills, is nineteen and is the youngest brother of two
he doesn’t see his older brother very often tho; he is known as the black lamb of the family and lives in chicago, probably in a fucked up shared apartment. his brother is a drug addict and their father has tried to get him into rehab multiple times, but he’d always relapse. kaiden dislikes his brother - he thinks he’s weak for getting addicted and he doesn’t like the reputation it puts on their family
kaiden’s dad is an asshole. he has been cheating on kaiden’s mother for YEARS. kaiden found out at a very young age, probably around the age of nine, where he found tapes of his dad fucking unfamiliar women (sometimes even men) in hotel rooms. his dad is into some kinky shit. his dad caught him watching one of the tapes however, and made it clear to him to never tell anyone. he’s also abusing kaiden

he also dislikes his mother. he thinks she’s weak for being so unaware of what his father has been doing for years. she’s too emotional, soft and naive in his eyes

his relationship with this girl (probably a cheerleader bc status means a lot to him) is very toxic, as i’ve mentioned before. he loves her and was willing to do everything for her but also? dude, if she was to punch him in an argument, she has to fear he’s going to punch back? he’s definitely choked her in an argument before and he also grabbed her too harshly way too many times
