she’s just like everyone else. had thought she was EXTRAORDINARY; a phenomenal being unlike any other he’s met ( aside from his angel, of course ), but with her absence rudiger no longer BELIEVES IT. katherine pierce is just like everyone else, to rudiger. they come, they leave such a deep impression– though, more like a stab wound right to the chest– then leave it unattended. they leave him. she left him. SHE’S NOT HIS, however, but once in a while rudiger finds his affections directed at a pretty girl. one he can’t help but want, despite his previous disgust with the many that THROW THEMSELVES at him. she’d been special, but she acts like all the rest. anyone he’s come close to they’ve RUN OFF. left him. abandoned him. lucifer does it. alo has done it. katherine did it. & yet she’s here, suddenly, acting like it’s nothing. trying to comfort him in a way that she can without being so VULNERABLE. but she’s back— that must mean something, right ? rudi isn’t sure. not as predictable as he’d thought she was. CONFUSES HIM. makes him wonder if she’s truly here for him or something else. it’s rarely ever rudiger that someone wants. 

HE TEARS AWAY FROM HER. thought about her return many times, always pleased with the idea, but now that it’s happening there’s a sense of BETRAYAL. hates it. doesn’t hate her, no, but he hates how he feels. rudiger is so tired. he’s so tired of finding people worth his TIME only to be stomped on. to be tossed away. he’s GARBAGE, that much is clear, but why does it have to be thrown in his face again & again ? he’s so bad, only THE DEVIL can actually fathom his presence– love him, too. steps back are taken, he’s shaking. sick. ill.
