I just read why Kai is your bias. It really got me. Guess I'm not the only one who feels like this for Kim jongin. I also love him with my whole heart .I wish I could just talk to him about how inspirational and beautiful he is. It was so nice to read it😊 thank you for that. Even if you wrote it a year ago haha. thank you ♡ even though what i wrote is now more than a couple years old, i still think it’s highly relevant ;u; there really isn’t a day that goes by that i don’t appreciate kai is my bias. i always say that stanning jongin is just so easy, because he’s constantly giving me new reasons to stan him. he makes me so proud. i am happy for him that he has so many stans who love him too ♡♡♡

can you write vol.2 for the pimp post you wrote for kai it was awesome its been awhile since you wrote it i'd be really happy to see what happenned after the mama era in a post too

i’ve thought about doing a part 2! but honestly it is extremely time consuming work lol ;; maybe if i can get some help to gather all the info since mama era! i actually have a doc where i keep links/translations that i would want to put in a pimp post update but it’s been difficult to keep up.  

i am also not sure if i’m the best person to write a pimp post because i tend to get meta/headcanon-y whereas a pimp post should be more objective lol (the pimp post you read is actually the finished product after it was edited a bit by the exochocolate mods!)

awwww thank you so much ;u; it’s not that big/much at all. when your inspiration is kai, it’s very easy to write... he’s an amazing person ;~; but i am always happy to hear that other people feel the same way about kai as i do!! i’m glad you enjoyed the essays!

So Yamaguchi brags about Tsukki, right? 

What if he does that for Tsukki’s sake? Tsukishima is not one to show if he’s proud of somehting, even if he’s quick to point out faults in others. He has this “I know I’m good but I actually don’t care about that”-attitude that makes it easy for him to play cool when someone better than him arrives. 

So maybe Yamaguchi brags about all the things Tsukki’s actually proud of for him? Maybe Tsukishima is afraid to show he’s proud of something because when he bragged about his brother being the ace

this happened.

So basically, he is proud of things. But he thinks that if someone is better at the thing that he was good at, he’s nothing special anymore. Iit’s easier to pretend he doesn’t care because this way he won’t be that pathetic person who’s proud of something insignificant. 

Yamaguchi knows that, so he’s the one to point out the things Tsukki is proud of without people knowing that he is. That way, when Tsukishima fails or someone is better than him, he can just keep his cool façade and won’t have to deal with being ebarassed or ashamed that people know he was proven wrong.
