Review:  Listened to as an audiobook on Libby. I hate reading bestsellers. Hate it. I hate how everyone is reading the same book at the same time and usually they are boring as heck. Not this one. This one is purely wonderful. I was drawn in from the very beginning and loved every minute of Kya growing up. I felt like I was growing up with her. Honestly, I'm extremely sad that this is a work of fiction, because I would LOVE to buy Kya's books about marsh wildlife and plants.

Five Stars!

If I could, I would give this book ZERO stars, because it was the worst book ever. I was forced to read it for one of my classes and it made me super depressed and thankful for my life.

Book Review:

I loved how Bagieu uses her art skills to colorfully bring the stories of these women to life and let the world truly see how these women changed the world. Her artwork is truly unique.
