Hey I was joking this is nothing. Look:

It's still fresh it's not even leather hard yet. when it is I will thin it out a lot and polish it. Everything is repairable until it's really dry. This stoneware fires jet black, so I want to make it super duper smooth, and after the bisque fire I will draw patterns with a transparent shiny glaze to have glossy/matte effects.

Oh also mild, if awkwardly unfortunate shout-out to @angy-brows for naming the yellow cat Follower THAT. The art they've done and the focus put on their version (also named Hastur) is fantastic and I came across this blog's art soon after I had begun work on this chapter.

I stuck to it for now, but. I am fully willing to rethink things on a name standpoint, though I'd have to ponder how to do it. For now, hiiighly recommend checking out their blog, their art is fantabulous.

The resurgence of Alejandro has got me thinking, How little does Alejandro have going on in his life that he has kept a grudge against Mike and Lucy for this long? It’s been like 3 years for them at least.

Veronica: Alej doesn’t constantly think about Mike and Lucy, for what it’s worth! He’s often doing other things. He’ll just get occasionally reminded by something or have an intrusive thought and it’ll send him into a rage. He’s sent into a rage about many things in his life. Mike and Lucy are just one of those little memories that cycles.

I have a lot of those.. I’ll remember a bad interaction that happened ten years ago and yearn for that person’s suffering. Intrusive angry BPD thoughts, baby!!!!

The main difference is I’ve learned to just.. feel those angry feelings.. and eventually move on. Alej lashes out, tosses shit around, tries to make plans, punishes the people around him in an impotent rage.

Toby is usually the one making the calls, out of an annoyed stubbornness, but it’s not always happening.

What would Hastur look like fully eldritch

I have some thoughts about it, trying my hand at monster design again !! CW - Body Horror !!

I sort of tried to lean into some aspects of all the Bishops:

Leshy's pincers = Hastur's split jaw

Shamura's crown

Gaping maw = Heket and Anura

Drowning = Kallamar and Anchordeep

I was also inspired by the split jaws from the Predator movies

One of the reasons why I draw Leshy with a loose shawl instead of a shirt - he has smaller arms to help him dig that are usually tucked against his sides/camo’ed into his leaves
