I feel like we don’t talk about this scene enough.

Like. Catra is being so playful and it’s so cute that she’s back to that stage in her relationship with Adora.

Then there’s the fact that she’s so comfortable sitting in Adora’s lap. And that look on her face as she’s waving her tail in Adora’s face while purring.

AND THEN THERE’S THE FACT THAT ADORA HOLDS ONTO HER LEG. Like, she couldn’t concentrate with Catra being on her lap without there being some kind of contact. Like the idea of being that close is too much to handle, but the contact helps calm that a bit.

Plus she’s comfortable gripping Catra’s leg, and Catra doesn’t feel like she’s trapped. I just feel like it shows a level of closeness and intimacy that is just the perfect build up to the kiss

Imagine Catra having all the reflexes of a cat, except being unable to land on her feet doing the most mundane things like when she used to fall off her bunk in the barracks, or putting on pants while standing and she just *boop* falls over. And everyone is so confused because "like, youre a cat?" And Glimmer pulls of a prank of such epic proportions, that Catra zoomies up to the highest point in Brightmoon and is too proud to let anyone help her get down and Adora is yelling that she's gonna She Ra her way up there and rescue her
