When you get to meet the beautiful @taylorswift and feel like a celebrity. Everyone at my work somehow found out and chases me down wanting to know what she is like ( is she really that tall, is she as nice as she seems, what did you talk about) YES, YES, and I was so nervous I don’t remember everything! Meeting her was a once in a lifetime experience and a lot of people when they meet their idol are disappointed, but I can promise you Taylor Swift is NOT disappointing at all. She’s sweet, genuine and thankful for her fans (she thanked us a million times for coming to the show and dressing up). Why do you think her fan base is so strong and supportive?

Hey, So today I spontaneously bought a ticket to rep tour Pittsburgh. 2018 has been a super rough year for me and my mental health, and seeing Taylor swift in Philly was the first time I’ve felt truly happy in so long. Dressing up as the crusty coins and partying with ashley was the highlight of my year. However, after my Philly shows, things went back to declining mental health, and to make things even worse, my absolute worst fear came true. My cat, sox, passed away unexpectedly on August 3:( I’m absolutely heartbroken and depressed, and as corny as it fucking sounds, Taylor Swift is getting me through it. I feel so blessed to be able to go to Pittsburgh, and can not emphasize the positive effect Taylor has had on me and continues to have. From 7 year old me singing ‘you belong with me’ in a pink cowboy hat for my 2nd grade talent show, to seeing her live for the first time at speak now, to dressing up as a pegacorn during 1989, to 17 year old me screaming 1,2,3 LETS GO BITCH at the top of my lungs high on life. Taylor has been with me through it all and I just want to thank her for getting me through so much shit and continuing to do that every single day💕💞💖

Was this a little over the top for our Reputation Costume reveal? ... NAH! Still can’t get over how purrrfect it came out and still cannot over that the queen herself will be here in a few days. We have been through it all together- from awkward middle school years to first heartbreaks to K having her beautiful babygirl to K even being the maid of honor at B’s wedding. We love to have fun together and laugh at ourselves hence our Getaway Car videos and photos. We also did another photoshoot having a memorial since the old Taylor is dead; we also celebrated the new Taylor! (Shoutout to B’s husband and K’s boyfriend who are also best friends and put up with our Taylor shenanigans by helping us to set up and be part of the photos and also be our photographers) We have so much in common, especially our love for Taylor Swift. We not only grew up together, but we also grew with Taylor. Her songs helped us get through life’s best and worst times over the past twelve years. We know we will always have each other. I have been a fan for years and I am so excited about attending the reputation Stadium Tour this August in Toronto! Your music has been the soundtrack to my life, so it is really exciting to get to see you perform the songs that hold so much meaning for me. I am going to be attending the concert with my sister and my mom who are also really big fans of yours.

The first time that I ever saw you perform live was one of the most magical, memorable times of my life. My family and I had tickets to see you at a festival in Ottawa that was actually cancelled by the city. When we were looking into how we would get refunded for our tickets, my mom stumbled across a headline that said you were rumoured to be a special guest at James Taylor’s Tanglewood performance. She immediately convinced my dad how awesome it would be to experience Tanglewood and James Taylor, even if your being there was just a rumour. Well, we got lucky! After driving for hours from Toronto, we lined up at the gates and heard you doing a sound check! I was so over the moon excited!! When you finally came on stage that night to sing Fire and Rain, I was just freaking out with my entire family. My dad twirled us around to Love Story and we were definitely getting lots of side eye from the other people around us. You also sang Ours, which has since become my all-time favourite song of yours. It was such an unforgettable night.

Fast forward to Red Tour, which was my first stadium concert ever. We went crazy with our costumes and signs that were all about our Tanglewood experience and our shared love for James Taylor. The whole night was so much fun and we really enjoyed singing, dancing, and having the best night of our lives. My sister was able to touch your fingertip as you were heading back from the B stage. She still tells anyone who will listen about how you stopped to read our sign and smile. You are so genuine and kind, which just makes being a Swiftie even more wonderful.

When the album for 1989 was released, I couldn’t believe that you had created such a unique and completely different sound for yourself. I was in love with the whole era and it is definitely one that has so many relatable songs that just speak to me. The costumes that we made for this tour were foxes and we saw you in the pit for both Montréal and Toronto. Montréal was so fantastic because we made some great friends waiting in line to get in. Kevin from Taylor Nation also came by and chatted with us. He even took our picture for the website, which was really cool. I was so amazed at how close we were to you that it just felt like such a surreal experience. It honestly felt like you were smiling and pointing at us both nights. I have heard quite a few people say the same thing and I find it amazing that anyone can feel a connection with you in a crowd of thousands of people! You have such a gift.

I am going to be at both shows in Toronto for the reputation Stadium Tour! The first night I will be in the Right Snake Pit. For the second night, we will be in Section A9, Row 27, Seats 4,5,& 6. Our costumes are rep Firefighters because we have your back, Taylor. Those flames are a thing of the past and we are ready to dance all night long with you! Hopefully, someday I will get the opportunity to thank you in person!
