Shoes Category Solution?
Since some months the shoes category for animals was removed. There is not really a solution for it. Let me know what you prefer? When you choose "combine shoes and hats" they will be still a only hat option

Cats & Dogs Addon
Hello! Hope you are all doing well! The Cats & Dogs Addon is now available!
This addon, like previous addons, aims to add more versatility to existing items in the pack with various new tables, desks and seating options. There's also some wall-mounted pet beds, TV units and modular curtain sets included as well!
There's over 40 items included in this addon. You can easily find the items in buy mode by searching for "Cats & Dogs Addon" or "IllogicalSims" using the in-game search function.
I think the next pack I'll make an addon for will be Enchanted by Nature 🌱

Merged package and separated zip versions can be downloaded below. Only install one option. I have included thumbnail images in the separated ZIP version to make it easier to pick and choose which items you wish to install.

Install
To install, place the .package files into your Mods folder found, by default, in My Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. Alternatively, you can place the individual .package files from the separated ZIP into it’s own folder within the Mods folder to keep things tidy.

Some drama has arisen concerning my "CAS Filters" mod, post release. If you find that I have added a filter for your content to my mod and you do not wish to allow simmers who download your content to be able to filter your content under your creator name while using my mod, you are welcomed to request that I strike your filter from the mod and it will be removed in the following update.

We are now in the post-release phase of this project, which means new filters will be added in "feature updates". HOWEVER, if there is a 9-digit "ID" assigned to a creator filter in my glorious spreadsheet, it can be added to content ahead of the next "feature update".
I will try to provide JSON files for all "PENDING" filters ahead of "feature updates". If I do, they will be available on the Patreon post and any mirrors that permit me to share JSON files.
As always, you are welcome to request any name added to the list, but you are also welcome to request a 9-digit "ID" if one has not been assigned yet, and also request a JSON.
Simmers can also request personalized "IDs" for personal use, similar to how I made one for "my anonymous friend".

Tumblr appears to have a limit for how many users I can @ in a post, but I would like to @ everyone on Tumblr when I create filters for them, as a way to notify you about what I'm doing and so simmers who see this post can find you easily.
I might come off as an egomaniacal arsehole at times (always for good reason), but it's because I care about our community.
I opted to not re-blog the Tumblr OP linked above because it is subject to lots of changes and Tumblr doesn't update the "preview" of re-blogged posts, HOWEVER, you're more than welcomed to re-blog the Tumblr OP and/or this post.
🌸 A UNIQUE 9-DIGIT "ID" FOR EVERYONE:
The 9-digit numbers following your name are to be used in the "TagValueNumber" field for the "SpecialContent" TAG.
Each 9-digit "ID" is unique to the creator it was made for - it is based on your creator name. I made them using a slightly convoluted system I devised in order to ensure that every "ID" is unique and that the filter list in CAS maintains some semblance of alphabetical order. These "numbers"IDs" can potentially be used for other things, but we'll get to that later.
🎓 HOW IT DO, PIKACHU:
If you're well-versed in creating or modifying CAS content, all you need to do is add a new TAG to your swatches - you can do just the first swatch, but you should do all swatches - and change the "CategoryNumber" to "127" (without the quotes), and change the "TagValueNumber" to the desired 9-digit "ID".
For everyone else who is new to this, there are detailed instructions in the form of easy to follow screenshots attached to the Tumblr OP and the Patreon OP, with further text-based instructions in the Patreon OP.
Individual JSON files for Sims 4 Studio for each filter TAG are also available, to make the process of adding these TAGS easier.
⚠️ BE ADVISED - TWO (2) "IDS" HAVE CHANGED:
I've expanded the collection of "generic" filters from (9) to (100) by adding the omitted "100000000" filter, then adding (90) more.
Generic filters now start at "100000000" and end at "100000099".
I've also added (30) "fashion era / time period" filters in 10-year gaps. However, while researching fashion through the ages, I noticed that some trends changed during that 10-year gap, so I might add 5-year gaps some time in the future.

Sad news about shoes for cats in dogs in the Sims 4. It looks like that the shoes catagory don't work anymore to show them in the cloths. I will try to fix it!

Merging Mods: Enhancing My Virtual Aviary with Kalino, Zx Ta, and TwistedMexi
Hey fellow Simmers,
I recently embarked on a creative journey to enhance my virtual aviary by combining two amazing mods from the talented creators @kalino-thesims and @zx-ta. To make things even more exciting, I also utilized the versatile Mod Tool from @twistedmexi.
First off, I integrated the beautiful macaw from Kalino's mod without its perch, and it fit perfectly onto ZxTa's bird tree spot. It was like they were made for each other! 🦜✨
However, when it came to the majestic toucan, I had to get a bit more crafty. Thanks to TwistedMexi's Mod Tool, I was able to seamlessly place the toucan where I wanted, ensuring it looked just right in my sim's world. 🌴✨
The process was a bit tricky but totally worth it. Now, my Sims can enjoy a vibrant and lively bird sanctuary, thanks to the incredible creativity of these modders.
Have you tried merging mods before? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have!

Issues: Birds Part 1
Quick question who downloaded my Birds. Are the thumbnails in the friendsship correct or did it show the original crow animal? Not sure why it happens. The last time it worked.

hey, really sorry to be a bother as i know you are probably super busy - unfortunately your free range animals pack is currently broken i think. ive got the free range lot51 installed and working and have your pack properly in my mods folder, but your animals aren't showing up. thank you for the awesome mods, i hope this isn't too much of a hassle
