WORDS WERE AIMED to target her anger. Anger results in her impulses. - A TEST.

At first, his positioning stuns her, a foot ahead. She was sure she had him in range. She finds her footing & faces him. ❝ ⸻ i know you aren't taking it seriously.❞ she says. Her tone reeked of frustration. She felt that primal need writhe under her skin.

Akari wanted that challenge. She huffed quietly under her breath as she lowered her blade. A thought in mind came across her as she starts walking toward him. She would brave the lion. ❝ why would I aim to hurt you if you're playing around? ❞ within an arms length, Akari slowly reaches to his chest with a softens - almost too soft in contrast to a bala she intended to fire.

His russet eyes remained fixed upon her. Sōsuke allowed her to counter his taunt with a more childish one, but his grin had vanished, replaced by a stern expression, as if he disapproved of her reply. She was attempting to use his own tactics against him, which he found almost endearing. And no. Naturally, he was not taking this situation seriously. He was not in any danger; there was no risk involved in their little 'game.' But her in the other hand was all ready too comfortable.

That too was a challange. AND SHE DARED TOUCH HIM without his allowance.

That expression broke, in a soft rumble of a chuckle - hushed.

Cute....a word he knew was vile to her. He watched her eyes with softening browns as he tenderly felt her hand woth his, then just as fluently, he grabbed her wrist. He will give her a reason to scle her power.

In an instant his own daughter was airborne towards one of the nearby towers.

THE BLADE MADE NO CONTACT with cloth nor flesh. She started her arm in mid air the moment he faded from his position. Her eyes linger on the spot he once stood until she caught the flicker of ghostly white in her peripheral vision. Akari kept her stance still. Lifting an arm his direction.

A ring of riatsu sparked once around her wrist. She fired two small balas that direction. In that second she takes advantage of the plumes of sand & burnt reishi. She sonidos within it to appear hurling towards him through the smoke with her blade ready 'cross her chest in an upward arc. She'd follow by another slash downward.

❝ happy birthday, father. ❞ Akari spoke flatly as if trying to sound with genuine emotion. It's funny given how she doesn't care for birthdays - but it was made an effort.

Don't ask how she slipped into the Soul Society. she considers she's forbidden, lest she be arrested. But here she was in Muken for the little message.

SHE SPOTTED him just when it was too late. Akari slipped away into the living world quietly with a different goal in mind. Though, when she was passing by, she saw him there & attempted to slip away, only for him to call her out as she turned. ❝ I...had some free time. ❞ Sosuke's voice pinned her in place as if a child was caught sneaking out.

Akari attempted an excuse. It was true, of course, as her principle dictates. ❝ ⸻ i shall return home if you wish it.❞

He sets down the book he was reading when he read her, scrutinized her response, but found no ill intent in her presence. Perhaps even she grew tired of her own chambers and the white halls of the palace.

"It's simply alright, Akari. I trust you enough."

He says as his thumb was used as a makeshift bookmark. He would have rumored she slipped away once she found he was gone. It was intriguing. He doesn't condemn her being here - its refreshing to see her out of her usual environment.
