Note: This CASE STUDY could help someone who is searching jobs online in someway and could save them lots of Time and Energy
Nowadays Job search Online has been easy.
With websites such as Shine, Indeed, Naukri, Monster Jobs, Freshers world etc. and lots more. These are some of the top job listing service websites in India, still we find many companies that list fake job description and salaries. This case study is to help people be aware of such cases in our locality and i will share some tips to identify if the job is fake.
Note: There are many trusted job listings too, but there are also fake job descriptions
In this case study, I am going to share an experience that I came across when I was searching for jobs on Shine.com.
EMAIL via Shine
I got a mail from ” Global Business Solutions ” on Dec 7 “ Naval Incorporation “ on Dec 8 and ” Auro ” on Dec 11 & 27
Global Business Solutions
Naval Incorporation
Auro
Click on the above link to see the email i received from them
and compare the three emails, in that two are exactly the same (Global and Naval) and one is similar (Auro)
Now coming to the Experience with “Global Business Solutions“
(Refer the email sent by Global Business Solutions, Link in the ‘Email via Shine’ section)
I called the number given in the description for appointment and also sent text message
see Screenshots of the Conversation
I thought the job was a great offer and so i called them for the appointment and i had further clarifications
When i searched in google for their official website i was not able to find the exact one , so i messaged them asking for the website
They gave a reply of their website ” http://globalbusinesssolutions.org ” , but when i opened the website it showed me domain had expired and i sent a message to them stating that issue
Then they called me and told me that it is Global Business Solutions is their Parent company and the name of the organisation is ” FOCUS Organisation ” in Coimbatore and their website was ” http://www.thefocusorganisation.com/ ” | Here there was a website
1st – There was something fishy and not satisfied | Really will a HR give wrong information about their company website in the first place ?
2nd – anyone can create a website within an hour / same applies for social media too
/ it depends on whom you trust and what the organisation really does
I browsed about “Focus Organisation” in Facebook and Linkedin
Yes they have a facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/FocusOrganisation1/
They also had a linkedin page https://in.linkedin.com/in/focus-management-ba7379121
These might look like its a good legit organisation but wait there is more to it, just a little more browsing helped to be aware of these people and what they will do after hiring !
was browsing through the posts for some further information and details of the organisation, and the person who runs the organisation.
I came through this post and found about the details of some people names
I googled about ” Sai Prakash Kuckian ” and ” Tony Fernandez ” and looks like they are lead roles in some org called APPCO Group | He also was running an organisation called ” Millenium Organisation ”
Please Read through these Links
https://www.complaintboard.in/complaints-reviews/millennium-organisation-l64434.html
what really happens is | i have also consulted with few friends on what exactly happened & the answer was similar to the complaints
https://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/appco-support-direct-india-c63477/page/3
Note: There will be an organisation, they will be offering you salary and you will be doing work
Its upto the person to decide if its okay or not to be a part of the group
My Point is why should you cheat Freshers and Experienced people by Advertising in the name of a different organisation and different role + salary ?
instead you can project yourself as an NGO and Fundraising job title !!
Why this is a Job Fraud ?
Its because nothing is Genuine here
Why should they create fake job roles in different company names ?
The above example is nothing, because if you are nearby you can go to the place or attend the interview and anyways find out if it is suitable for you or not,
But there are even more Dangerous Online Job Frauds and Job Scams around , google about these topics to know more
Beware of such jobs and do little browsing and call them and ask if you are not having clarity | even before wanting to visit and attend interview and wasting time .
Kindly let me know about your thoughts in the comments below .
Thanks for reading
if you found this helpful, kindly share with your friends too who are seeking job
this 15 minutes case study could save them some time and energy !!
Good luck for job seekers, follow your passion and you will find the right place 🙂
