“Oh please,” Dendera laughed a bit, “that’s utter hogwash. This competition is for schools to show off under the guise of ‘international magical co operation’” she made air quotes with her fingers. She wasn’t particularly nervous about competing. However, she did care about her team winning. “I regret that I can’t return the luck. See, I’m quite competitive.” She smirked. “Well.. I do have a distinct feeling that this won’t be a fun game.”
"I’m sure it’s a highlight to showcase what we’re all capable of,” Kamaria agreed kindly, evenly. After all, each school had its own specialty. “And I certainly don’t want to lose either.” The incentive was too high -- she really wanted that internship. “But we may have a better time of it if we see it as less of a sport.” She was certainly banking on the hope that it wouldn’t be too physical anyway.
