Help/Advice??
So I was trying to get my giveaway to go on my weebly page yesterday, page views went up but no one commented on the giveaway, but have no problem with tumblr, which I am honestly trying to drop because it gets overwhelming and my weebly page is just a million times easier to keep updated and keep track of. My last update here before yesterday’s giveaway was in January. Few things on this:
-you don’t need to sign up anywhere to comment, you can just comment user name and ID# same as you would here on tumblr (which is all I ask as usual)
-the two comments there were from my partner and a friend to encourage people to comment, and weren’t counted during the drawing
-while the commenting section has boxes for email and website, they’re not required to do so and I stated this on my posts, there’s no option in the blog settings to remove them (I’ve looked about 100 times, so if it’s there, I’m oblivious to it)
-I linked to the giveaway page, which is where the majority of yesterday’s views were
-It’s easier to keep track of comments on my weebly blog (in my opinion) because when you refresh/load more comments/reblogs on tumblr, posts can be overlooked and entries can be missed
So I’m confused as to why people will go to my website but not comment??? I have a few more giveaways for this week and would really hate to see them flop due to no entries.
