Consider: Jirou sitting with Eri on a coach in the common room one evening, when Eri is getting a little sleepy but doesn’t quite want to go to bed yet. Jirou eases Eri’s head onto her lap, and Jirou starts to stroke her hair and sing her lullabies. The little girl is close to tears, only faintly remembering the last time someone did that for her so long ago, but she slowly and peacefully falls asleep.

And Kaminari is sitting nearby, mesmerized. He doesn’t know yet he’s falling in love with Jirou. Right now, he’s just dimly, VERY dimly, aware of a sensation in his chest telling him “Holy crap she’d be such a good mom”.
