So much has happened in the past few months

 Left a soul sucking Job.

My film made it into a festival

Got my first professional job as an extra and stand in

It’s all going as planned.

I’m so close.

A short Christmas dedication my family, but more so for myself.

For my last meal as an undergraduate at university I treated myself to an expensive seafood dinner. An old friend of mine gave me a gift card to Hannah’s, and i figured since I won’t be back in town much anymore, I might as well use it.

I remember when I first got here I was sitting in the office with my mom, and was heartbroken that the school didn’t teach animation. My Mom told me to go after my other passion, film.

This was definitely the most stressful, and challenging semester I’ve ever had.

I was successful. I got straight As, have three films to my portfolio,  and more than anything proved to myself that I can succeed in anything i put my mind to.

     What I learned from my time here:

I can accomplish anything, and do anything I want. I know I will be successful

I’ll never doubt myself as much as I did in regards to my feelings about certain things, staying in touch with people, and just myself in general.

Cutting toxic people out of your life is one of the keys to inner peace and happiness

People will take advantage of you when given the opportunity.

You can’t trust anyone. And you can’t  trust anyone to be as smart, understanding,or as caring as you. Even though those things are obvious, I’ve learned the hard way.

Even after being hurt by different people I’d grown to care for during my time here, I’ll always pride myself in being a caring person.
