Beginnings
The man in the black coat walks slowly down the street of town. The sun shines brightly overhead causing the pavement to radiate a thick heat. Uncomfortable, the blonde man takes off his coat and swings it over his shoulder. "Whew, much better". Suddenly an odd noise of electronic static fills the air. The man looks around and realizes the source is a large glowing blue sphere in the middle of the street about a block away. Wasting no time, he rushes over to the source of the disturbance. As he gets close, the sound begins to die down and the glow vanishes. As it does, it reveals a body of a strangely attired man. In his had there appears to be a strange gun. "Is that a laser pistol or something?" the man thinks before lightly kicking the gun aside sending it spinning down the street. The not-actually-unconscious man grunts startling the blonde man, "You're alive? Here let me help you." He pulls out a folding chair and sets it up next to the stranger and then helps him up into it. The stranger replies, "Thank you." The first man smiles, "No problem. I'm Kanji, who are you?" The stranger replies, "Thanks Kanji, I'm Captain Jack"
