People who sleep all the time aren’t narcoleptic, we are tired all the time and also have insomnia. We sleep the same amount as any other person does, so maybe just MAYBE, try actually learning about something before you say shit like that.

When did I ever say my disorder is an insult? Seriously where? What I was saying is that you were USING it as an insult. It is no different to say “what are you [r slur]???”.

You can simply just say something like “Sorry I shouldn’t have said that, I won’t do it again.” but no, you instead go on insisting that you are by no means in the wrong and that we are instead the ones being ableist.

If someone who is literally diagnosed with narcolepsy is coming to you and saying that what you said was ableist then you have no right to say its not! Im so sick and tired of non narcoleptics making my disability into a joke or an insult! Narcolepsy is a serious disorder and this shit ruined my life, and here you people are using it as a way to insult or joke with people and its not okay!
