Pretty sure you guys saw it, those who care. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been dropped.
Which is probably a good thing since I’ve been really lax/lazy about replies and stuff.
Dunno if I’ll be back once the 24 Hour wait limit is up, or if someone’ll take my boys by then. But that’s beside the point. I’ve had some fun and made a couple of good friends here. I may come back soon or someday, with a fresh muse and a crop of new faces.
If you wanna plot or something with little ol’ me I totally have tumblr’s latest disaste- I mean Tumblr’s IM system on all of my RP blogs! Other than that, it feels okay to be back!
A small smile formed on Leaf’s lips as Green let out a grumble when she mentioned a particular time in which Red had helped him. It was always like that. The two of them were often against one another and yet, it appeared in times of need, they seemed to weasel their way back into one another’s lives.
As they decided on what to bring to the picnic, Leaf’s mind automatically sought sandwiches as it was something one would often bring along to a picnic. When she held the loaf of bread up to Green, she caught his incredulous expression and ended up letting out a light laugh. It was quite obvious that Green was thinking something more along the lines of warm foods. With the snowy landscape and the chilly air, it was common sense to bring along some kind of soup to keep them warm. Sandwiches definitely would not help in that aspect. Though she suspected a snowball fight of sorts and running around would be of some help for some desirable warmth.
As she wandered around the grocery store, she peered over at Green who stood a few feet away from her in one of the aisles. Blinking slowly, she came to a halt, taking in his familiar form and noticing how much he had grown from when they were children. The random thought of how long they had known each other came to her mind. How long had they been friends? Been together? How long had they supported and encouraged each other throughout their journey? How long had they displayed that usual back to back banter? Leaf’s eyes soften for a moment. Would Green always be in her life?
“Well, what can I say? Someone as worldly as me has to know a couple spots or two right?” He chuckled and rubbed his nose, if there was one thing Green was proud of, it’s the places he knew.
Spots where nature could be observed at its most marvelous moments. Flowers blooming, Pokemon living and scenic areas where one could lose themselves amidst the quiet isolation Mother Nature had to offer. He hitched up his scarf over his mouth and zipped up his jacket, the walk to his picnic spot was a bit of a long one.
The cold winter bit into Green’s cheeks as he and Leaf left the store. Snow crunched beneath their feet and the air was still and frigid, weather like this was uncommon in Viridian City. Sure, it snowed but usually the morning sun cleared it all up by the time anyone was awake. Last night’s blizzard was unexpected, but the people of Viridian were hardy, snow was plowed out of driveways and people were bright and cheery. It was like a picture from those Christmas Postcards that Daisy liked to send. It seemed that way on the outside, but on the inside, Green was in turmoil. Part of him wanted to leave and be alone with his failures, but he also wanted to stay with Leaf who gave him much comfort and a true sense of belonging.
Through pine-needles and snow, the scent of a lovely evergreen forest met them. The air was still and silent as it should be during a cold winter day, rays of sunlight glinted off the surface of the snow. Green watched the clouds his breath made as he and Leaf marched on, even though the girl was near him the boy felt solitude in the weather. It had always been a familiar feeling for him, traveling alone, only having his wits and his Pokemon by his side. Sure, he had some acquaintances and friends but he hardly spoke to them, Hell, he only dialed Daisy ever few months to let her know that he’s still around. Ever since he was younger, all of his days were spent traveling alone.
Truth was, he didn’t like it anymore.
He wanted Leaf, badly. The girl who showed him companionship throughout the years, the one who stuck by him, even when he was mean. Leaf had taught Green more than she thought, and he wanted to repay her back. Through his travels he learned a lot of things, and of course, made lots of money battling other people and earning gym badges. But none of that mattered when it was compared to Leaf.
The voice in his head came to a halt when he realized that the two of them hadn’t said a word since leaving the PokeMart, but that was fine. They reached the spot where a log bench awaited them. But the best part wasn’t there yet, “Alright Leaf, for this next part you gotta deal with this!” with that, he covered Leaf’s eyes with his mittens and steered her to his favorite part of this sanctuary: the outlook. With a flourish, he let Leaf’s eyes gaze upon a small valley with trees lined with snow and a frozen pond at the bottom. By miraculous luck, some Pokemon scampered about, adding to the splendor of nature.
“This is a place no one’s seen, it’s my spot. I even took the log bench up here by myself. And now, well…” As confident as he was, as aloof as Green could be, he still felt his cheeks flare up, “Now, this is our spot…” He shook his head and smiled, “Anyway, let’s get this fire started. I can’t feel half of my body heh.”
The air was tense, the patron’s breaths were held as they watched Green and Chili on the stage before them. All the clinks of utensils against plates had stopped, for that, the waiters and waitresses were happy. Green loved it, every bit of it. The grandeur, the way Pokemon and Trainer clashed together, all of it reminded him why he loved battling. It’s been awhile since he felt this way, so he was going to revel in it, give Chili a taste of what a true battle was like!
When Charizard was sent in, there was an unmistakable glint of jealousy and admiration in Chili’s eyes as he exclaimed in a child-like awe. “Whoooa! Cool!”
Green only smirks before siccing his Charizard on the Emboar, flames jet and surround the pig warrior. Chili commands his Pokemon to use the flames and take Charizard down a peg with a Fire Blitz, which was what Green was hoping for.
“Yeooow! We’re playing with FIRE, MAN!”
“Now Charizard!” Green yelled with ferocity, Charizard gripped Emboar and raked it across the restaurant’s walls before splintering a window and hurtling outside. Green took one look at Chili and dashed through the hole their Pokemon made, a smoking crater lies outside. Charizard rises with Emboar still in its clutches, they both rise high into the azure sky before crashing down again, sending several trees crashing down.
Green stands with his arms crossed as he shoots a smug grin at Chili, his plan quickly went up in flames. Filled with performance and bravado, Green puffs out his chest and proclaims, “Chili, I’m afraid that you’ll have to start using your head to defeat someone of my caliber” He runs a hand through his hair and stares down Chili.

Hey everyone! So my family and I recently moved and I don’t have internet :( [it’s getting solved but every time one problem is solved, another one comes up] so while that’s getting solved [Day 4 of no net] I’d like to get my bearings and see who’s still around and threading with my boys. (Falkner/Volkner/Green)
Comment or send an ask to my inbox and I’ll fix everything to where it’s supposed to go! Don’t forget to tell me if I owe you or you owe I! Otherwise I won’t be too sure if someone is still threading with me/wants to thread and may be inclined to drop that thread :s
"Oh no, not me, I never lost control. You’re face, to face, with the man who sold the world”
Finally, everything he wanted was in his hands. Red was a pushover at the league match (as expected) and now he was where he should have been from the beginning of his journey. The ceremonies all rolled by and he finally heard the words he’d been waiting for so long uttered by Gramps; “I knew you could do it Green, congratulations.” Though his words were dripping with a lowdown disappointment, Green didn’t care. He was the better one after all, wasn’t he? After his journey, collecting the badges and losing over and over to Red, yes, this is exactly what he deserved…
So why did it feel so desolate?
The halls of the champion’s room always felt empty, even when he decorated it with pictures of his exploits and his Pokemon. Even when Leaf visited he felt as if something was missing but he couldn’t tell what it was. Trainers hardly stopped by and whenever Green was out and about he felt like he should be back at the league to deal with business issues. Then there was the disappearance of Red on his mind. Since their battle three months ago he had gone missing and no one had any idea where the wayward trainer had gone. All of the glamour was quickly being polished away, was this what he was feeling? An immaculate wealth of regret, maybe it wasn’t supposed to happen. Whatever it was, Green was sick of it.
It happened one night as he was loafing around the courtyards of the Indigo League, the night air was still and calming. It soothed the runaway train that was Green’s mind, the cool breeze, the smell of the outside. Everything felt like it did before he was the Champion of the Indigo League. With the grass against his back, Green watched the stars and nearly jumped out of his skin when someone approached him and uttered just one word-
Confidence hugged Lisia like gravity as she took a deep breath before hearing her name called. Putting on her brightest smile she ran out tossing the poke-ball in the air releasing Ali who did the stunning swoop they had practiced. Lisia called out all the moves she needed to and worked the routine with Ali just like they practiced.
When her turn was finished she was slightly out of breath but kept her posture strong and elegant. She confidently walked off stage with Ali before smiling and hugging the bird pokemon. “Oh Ali I think we got this one.” She smiled and watched as another opponent walked past her. He had a mask on covering his face but by what she could tell he was on the tougher side. “What is a guy like him doing her and whats with the mask?” She asked watching him go on stage and release an Eevee.
It was a cute pokemon and their routine was good. Lisia crossed her arms at her new found rival. “Were gonna have some problems if he goes to the next round Ali.” She admitted before walking off to the dressing room area. ‘Who is he? What is he doing here? Am I going to be able to beat him?’ All these questions ran threw her head. This new challenger would be her greatest battle in the contest world. Well at leased until a new person came around.
It was his best-hidden secret, not a soul knew what he did. Well, there was a person who found out but due to a heist they pulled Green knew that she wouldn’t tell anyone. What was his secret?
He was a contest competitor. It was naturally the next step right? Many trainers who battled Pokemon also competed so Green decided, why not be the best at both worlds? However, before he would compete he would need a disguise, and a stage name, after all, something that no one could suspect. When the idea to wear a mask finally came around, he was a little nervous. After all, it would be far too easy to see through a mask right? But as luck would have it, the mask was very good at obscuring Green’s identity and garnering him a rather embarrassing nickname; “El Subueso.” But in the end, he couldn’t complain.
At first Green thought that being a coordinator could be a little boring, but as he soon found out: it was actually very fun. A very miniscule part of him actually enjoyed coordinating; buying fashionable outfits for him and his Eevee and practicing combinations together in the privacy of his gym. It was all good fun, especially since it gave him a chance to bond with his wonderful Eevee.
Once he felt more comfortable with his outfit and the way Eevee moved on the field, Green decided that it was time to participate in a competition so he signed up for a rather small one in an otherwise unnoteworthy town. With all of the efforts he put into choreographing, he and his Eevee easily swept away the competition and brought home the gold. After this, Green was recommended to go on to bigger and better contests so that he may become something of a superstar. Jumping on that chance, he agreed to it and received his first ribbon (a very lucky charm that he holds on his person whenever he can.)
After performing in many contests, Green would work his way up from the ranks of performers until he started to hear about a rather amazing performer. Stories were passed around about her, some good some bad. Her name was Lisia and she was raised two rather ambitious people (word is one’s a Gym Leader and the other is a Champion) and she was considered something of an idol in Hoenn. He finally got the chance to see her in action during one of the Hoenn Circuits, he and his Eevee performed spectacularly. Her pirouettes and contest moves astounded the audience and garnered the approval of the judges.
When the results were announced, Green was less than surprised to find out that he’d be moving up and that he’d be facing off against Lisia for the gold. He bowed with her and the other contestant as the audience filled the stage with clapping before stepping behind the curtain to get his things and leave.
“Hey wait! Hey!”
Green was halfway out the door when he heard her call out for him, she held her hand out. “Hey, I’m Lisia. I just wanted to wish you luck tomorrow and ask…” There was a moment of silence, Green could almost feel what she was going to say next, “Who are you?”
“Who I am doesn’t matter, what matters is my plan.” Without removing his mask, Green whirled around to look at her in her eyes, “No one cared who I was ‘til I put on the mask.”
Alright first things first, yeah I’ve been a little worried about my writing style and stuff because for some reason I just feel like I’m shakey or I’m losing it. I’ll probably run around a little and write dopey stuff and see if I can get into the swing of things again and become comfortable with writing. That aside, I might have to ask for an extension or something because…
I’ve got three months to live, in the house we’re renting. (Landlord wants to sell but he told us we have 3 Months, but maybe he’ll change his mind and give us a little more time…?) So right now, I’m kind of scrambling around asking people who’ve had a hand in my life for leads to jobs or anything that can help me. But rest assured that this mun is going to be okay. Maybe, I just really need to start saving up and seeing my options. Parents want to move to AZ but I want to stay here in my dinky cow town since.
1) I’m kind of rooted here
2) I want to finish my education here
So we’ll see what happens, but I probably won’t be too readily available unless I have a lazy day or something. (Which I won’t have too many of cause, 3 months goes by fast.)
Anyways, I hope you’re all doing great, I’ll try to knock this hiatus out asap!
Against his every wish the pseudo-professor’s cheeks flaredup, he looked behind him and nearly fell over when his face was inches awayfrom Leaf’s. Not used to this kind ofbehavior from his pseudo-lab assistant Green backed up and tried to set thingsstraight, but to his horror he found himself stuttering. “W-what did you say?”Again, her blue eyes seemed to burn straight into his emerald eyes as shereminded him, “You heard me, I want you to kiss me Green.” He couldn’t back upanymore. Green was against a wall, he hoped it would give way but it didn’t. Leafclosed the distance rather quickly and immobilized him with another deep stare,“Kiss me Green…”
Her face drew closer and closer to him, the tips of theirnoses met briefly until Green found himself diving deep into the ocean kept inLeaf’s eyes.
Green practically leapt from his bed, sweaty and too warm forcomfort. A quick glance at his clock confided that it was 3:52am. The mastertrainer groaned and slouched to his kitchen to pour himself a large glass oficy cold water. Never again would he eat pizza before going to bed.
Snowpoint City, Volkner thought it was one of the nicestplaces in Sinnoh but that was up to him, Flint on the otherhand never liked the“cold wasteland.” Despite Flint’s claims however, the young engineer loved todon his favorite parka and brave the icy front, it felt thrilling and it gavehim a chance to sit away from everything and be alone with his thoughts.
Well… almost alone.
While gazing into the white wonderland a welcome voice rangout from behind him, “Candice is happy to see you Volkner!” From there theQueen of the Ice leapt onto his back and sent the two them tumbling into the snowwith a hushed “woompf!” The engineer laughed as he pushed Candice away fromhim, this was the playful girl’s usual way of greeting him, except he usuallycatches her when she jumps towards him. Peals of laughter and “getoffame!” rang through the air until a deathlysilence cut through the noise, Volkner and Candice found themselves lookinginto each other’s eyes as one held the other down.
Both of their hearts wereracing as they slowly came together before sharing a rather cold kiss. Theyremained together until Candice let out a little giggle and admitted that they’dbetter do this in the Snowpoint Café lest “Volkner wants his tootsies to getfrost bitten!”
“A childhood memory huh? Well, I guess I’ll share a littlesomething with you.” Volkner rubs the back of his head as he thinks of somethingto reminisce. “Well, I think something that really sticks with me is getting upway early in the morning to tend to our flock. Looking back however, I’ll admitthat getting up at 4:30am on weekdays and 6:00 on weekends was a little crazybut back then… there was something magical about waking up before the sun.”
