There are people in the comments going “People can recover?!?!” it’s so shocking how uninformed some people are.

Yeah absolutely the current death rate is 2% out of all the people who are diagnosed with the virus. That means the other 98% of the people who get infected recover and are just fine. (So this image isn’t an acurate statistic but whatever) It’s mostly dangerous for elderly people, people who work in healthcare and people with pre-existing health issues.

So no need to panic, just wash your hands and cover your mouth when your sneeze or cough.

So getting back into the doctor who fandom is horrible. So many people getting kind of defensive with the new doctor and season... if I see one more post about how the new season needs to reference something that happens years ago I’m going to slam my head into the wall as hard as I can.

Guys, gals, non-binary pals, it’s a kids show. Analyzing it, great, love it. But referencing Moffat and Davis shit? That crap was bad, and the kids? They won’t remember any of it! Doctor who isn’t about grand sweeping space opera like stories, they’re supposed to be episodic adventures for the kids! I just don’t get it, why do you want this nice TV show with fun episodes to be convoluted and stupid?

Eh, look, I love it too. But maybe don’t hold your breath waiting for the show to reference Missy or something??? This has been a pretty hard reboot, and I like it way more than the stuff we used to get. And if you don’t prefer it, or even like it, it might be time to jump ship.

Amidst all the salt directed at the disappointing ending to what started out as a great show, I do wanna take a second to shout out the actors for their amazing work, the cinematographers for serving some truly gorgeous views, Ramin Djawadi for the perfect music, and all the rest of the crew for all their hard work.

It’s not their fault they were given subpar material to work with, but they’ve definitely done their best with it!

Nobody asked for my opinion on this, but a few people i’ve shown legacies to think that Hope and Alaric’s relationship is pretty creepy. Tumblr is mostly Penelope content (which i approve), but I figured i’d post this here anyway.

So here I go. (just watched on netflix).

To me there's no denying that their relationship is more partner than parent, but that doesn't mean it his has be romantic, (ew) because that's what we're getting at right? We're all worried it's romantic? I don't think it is.

I get the impression that in a bad situation they're each other's first calls. In ten years hope will be a teacher at the school, and she and Alaric they'll be watching Jepordy together on a Sunday night (or whenever jeopardy airs). Honestly the vibe i get is that they're platonic soul mates. (maybe a bit strong? Maybe work best friends.) Thing is Alaric has so much respect for hope, he knows what's she's been through and how powerful she is that it's kind of hard to see her as a kid, ya know? They're on equal footing, they're equals, partners. So it can't really be kid and parent. He has the experience, and she has the power. They're like weird best friends or something. And honestly it's pretty cute.

It may be labeled as surrogate father figure and daughter for now, but in five year or something, they'll just be best friends hunting monsters together.
