These new YA romance writers remind me of how i used to write when i was a teenager haha.

#specifically those ‘booktok’ writers #the bad ones.#i feel like that’s an important distinction.#i’ve seen some lines in acotar. hell. fourth wing. and i thought #‘that sounds like something little kid me would write.’

All of my drafts are written in paper. So when I digitize everything I’m quite literally forced to reread everything i wrote.

It’s good for productivity if you don’t cringe every two seconds and what you wrote and stop writing due to embarrassment of it.

If i ever were to publish anything i would have my first book be the trashiest, booktok fantasy romance book you could imagine.

And the second one be the single most heart wrenching piece of fiction ever written.

And those two books would be my entire author bibliography.

I am so deathly afraid of publishing because I am so bad at writing character descriptions—especially since I mainly write first person pov. I almost never have the reason to describe the main character.

So terrified of someone mistaking Dysuva to be a white man.

being agender is a wonderful thing.

i am quite literally. a gender.

Writing is so funny.

You mention one thing offhandedly in dialogue and now that’s a thing that exists forever in your world.

I can’t remember exactly what it was but somewhere in conversation a character mentioned something and I thought offhandedly:

“Oh you’re christan? Huh.”

i find it a little odd how the other kaijus featured in 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' all have designs that are fairly similar to their previous counterparts.

and then there's mothra.

The dragons from Game of Thrones and House of the Dragons are genuinely just so. Uninteresting. I don’t want to say uninspired but they are just—what’s the word for it.

Mundane, in a way?

I mean no disrespect but i fear that in some cases, trying to be realistic can be a detriment to a design. Because they made a point for them to be more realistic but do not fully proceed with the concept.

Which I find to be largely disappointing.
