A small, curious tilt of her head as she mirrors his expression, the smile brightening a bit when the transformation of the shadows draws her gaze downward.

The Bloomling on her shoulder makes a soft, trilling noise and looks from the shadow to its mother, then back at the shadow once more as it points excitedly.

Please, please take advantage of this if you don’t have insurance and/or make little to no money. I have done this a couple times, and currently have a 6k bill in the pipeline with them. Sometimes, they will ask you to exhaust your options of asking your county for help and state programs, but this has saved me a lot of times. I say no insurance or no money because when I had my brain hemorrhage, I was on leave from work and had no money coming in, but I was still on my job’s baller insurance and they forgave the last $6k that my insurance didn’t cover of my $100k bill because of me having zero income.

Another great thing that has helped me get back on my medicine I have to take because of my brain hemorrhage I had a few years ago is the sliding scale program. Some/most clinics need just a little bit of info like paystubs and your most current tax return and they can determine if you can pay a set amount when you go to see the doctor. I do this and every visit is just a set amount of $25. (Some therapists also do the sliding scale program. I’m planning to visit one this year)

Finally, look in to the 340B drug program (American followers). It can reduce the amount of your prescriptions if you don’t have insurance and are low income. I went from spending over $200 to $15 for my medicine.

All of these are lifesavers. Please do some investigating of clinics to see if they have sliding scale.

Honest hour: I’m so tired of playing my female muses because they never receive as much energy as my male muses. I always feel like I have to try twice as hard with them and constantly being nervous about the usual criticism when it comes to female muses just drains all the fun out of RPing at all. But at the same time my girls are my highest muse and I love them.

#thinking of just putting my male muses on the back burner #once i get the rebooted blog up #and putting the girls on main #but I’m also afraid of getting no activity #or feeling like I’m not really writing to anyone

Her neck hurts when she stares at the paintings along the halls, and she always hung her own decorations too low no matter how high she tried to place them. She could practically look door knobs in the eye. She looked like a child when she sat in most of the chairs. But in this sky palace where she was dwarfed by near everything in sight, she’d found Home. She was more at peace here than she was anywhere else. Even her own realm.
