Mega description of our Years In The Wilderness EP on the shelves of Sound It Out Records in Stockton (have a listen at kapitan.bandcamp.com). We'll be joining in their 15 year birthday celebrations later in the month which will be a fantastic thing to be part of.
In the meantime everyone's returning from their holidays, gigs are being booked and plans are afoot for the rest of the year including one or two very interesting things.
I fucking love this band. Get your bleak on.
All Hail, the new King in town.
Total inspiration.
New pop video filming last night. Bosh.
Years In The Wilderness Launch - The Green Room, Stockon-on-Tees, June 22nd 2013
WHAT a night. It’s been a while coming and it was great to celebrate the release of our new EP with a great bunch of people in the cosy and intimate surroundings of The Green Room on Saturday night. The reaction we’ve had since sticking our head above water at the end of January has been nothing short of amazing, I certainly didn’t expect any of it, and it gives us more focus to continue writing, recording and playing.
It was a pleasure to be joined by our friends Hannah D’Arcy and Eeves, who both played outstanding sets. Huge thanks to both of them.
The biggest thank you goes to everyone who came down on the night, you were fantastic. Kapitan rises!

Preview in our local paper of the EP Launch at The Green Room Stockton. Class!
We've played with Eeves when we've been in previous bands and I've never been anything other than massively impressed with them. They're post-punk and really bittersweet, a great set of musicians and I'm chuffed to bits they're joining us at the EP launch!
Hannah D'Arcy is playing her first Teesside gig ever this Saturday when she plays with us at the Green Room in Stockton. I've known Hannah for the best part of a decade or so and it's been great to see her get stuck back into music and make a name for herself in the north of the region. Here's her new track, give it a listen.
First review of Years In The Wilderness came through yesterday by the fantastic Sound Of Confusion. They totally nailed it. Check them out.
Joe Kinnear’s talkSPORT interview. Remarkable.
"Who did your media training? Myra Hindley?"

Great shots from ACDSleeve who made our sleeves for Years In The Wilderness. Check them out at http://www.acdsleeve.com/
Nice little article about the band, out EP and our EP launch gig on the 22nd that I was asked to write for this months Link magazine!
Getting the train into work this morning from the birthplace of the railways, massively responsible for the place I live (Stockton) and the place I was born (Middlesbrough). Both now seemingly resigned to a footnote in history with the feeling that their best days are long gone. Although that can be said for the vast majority of the North East. I wonder if this place stunk of piss in 1825?
Exile. The second track to make it online from our Years In The Wilderness EP.
CHECK IT.
