Tyrrhenian Sea

After so long... I finally saw the sea again. I can't believe I have missed it so much! Next time I swear I'll take a dive and won't come back out until I have grown gills!

If it looks a bit weird it's because I took the photo from a fairly high place and… yeah, I'm afraid of heights. ^^; So I did everything as fast as I could and retreated back to "safety". Hopefully next time I'll be able to do better shots.

For those who wonder, the Tyrrhenian Sea is part of the Mediterranean Sea, the section between Italy and the islands of Sardinia and Sicily to be precise.

Great White Shark

Because it's Summer, that's why! Let's bring something related to the table, shall we?

Okay, I know it's way less detailed tha my other "pencil with digital coloring" but sharks don't have way too many details on their bodies (except maybe for scars) so there wasn't exactly much to work with. Buuuuuut... I'm a huge shark fan and I realized way too late I haven't ever bothered to draw one using a proper reference. Soooo... here we go! A great white in all of it's glory!

I should draw more sealife since it plays a huge role in my works. Maybe next time, who knows.

Good old Space Grandpa Hunhow... after this we have yet another reason to go especially brutal on Wally when we finally get to face him. Can't wait to wipe that grin off his face!

Jokes aside... imagine seeing THAT suddenly crossing the sky. He can easily be on the list of the biggest videogame characters!

Too Late

He realized he should have stopped when the first message came... and when they just kept coming on any plantform he was on. He should have stopped when not even changing his phone number or e-mail helped. Now it was too late...

Now he was being hunted. Hunted by that "something"... somehow it seemed to always find him, no matter where he went. Out of desperation, he fled from the city and into the woods with nothing but his phone and the clothes on his back. The clothes he was always so proud of... why they didn't keep it away? Everybody was supposed to fear him! No... not that nightmare. Not that supposed "legend" that still hunted even after so many years. Now it was him who was truly afraid. He lost control of his body as the giant creature came from the darkness. He begged, he cried, anything to make that nightmare stop before things could get any worse. A deep rumbling voice shook his very core:

"You are begging me? Weird... you didn't seem so frail and fearful when stalking those people..." He just stared down at the weeping mess that was supposed to be a young man: "On your feet." He commanded: "Show me your bravery. At least those who came before you had the guts to try to strike me."All he got was more begging and crying as a foul smell started to radiate from the man. Thorne just stared down at him... this wasy going to be way too easy. Not even worth getting his hands dirty.

Based on a nightmare I had a long time ago that somehow resurfaced after having the very bad idea of binge-watching analog horror media in general. After examining assorted material, I tried to make Thorne look scarier. What do you guys think? Another tiny detail... notice how his wings are folded instead of fully spread? It's because he doesn't need to look any bigger. This time he's dealing with such a pathetic loser that he ain't even bothering, his presence alone is doing the trick.

And about that guy... he's based on an old classmate of mine. A spineless coward edgelord that probably by now he's drinking sewage for views. I don't think that attitude of his landed him any remotely stable job if he still thinks and acts like he used to back then.

Tempations and Consequences

"...Because you must be a complete idiot to genuinely believe some people aren't your spat out copy just because they decided to do so ages before they even met you just out of spite and therefore you must punish them!"

Thorne's incredibly busy month is back. The hunt is on and he's having a field day to see how many are actually willing to follow the death threats they spew at any given chance. Because let's say it, nobody would dare to actually follow their plans if punishment was this swift and effective. Nobody is safe forever in any case.

Had fun messing with transparency effects. Who knew rendering shadows could be this amusing?

Dedicated to some behavior I had the misfortune to witness in my life. Sadly I have met these kind of subjects and, as some of you may already know, they are stuck in that sad groundhog day that's their mindset. Must suck to have your brain stuck in a timeloop while your body grows older and everybody else eventually leaves you behind, isn't it? Not that they will ever realize it until it's too late... sucks to be them, I say!

Extra Sparkly Gel

Based on a combination of weird medical stories I have heard and read from assorted sources. I swear doctors sometimes get to deal with the weirdest cases. Also Euver is finally back. The magician bartender probably heard some weird shit from anybody who desperately needed to vent their frustrations to whoever is willing to listen. Something tells me Keil is one of his main "confessors". Can one even use this term in this context? Beats me.

A simple drawing for a quick laugh. It was also a good excuse to experiment with weird poses too. Worth the time spent on it!

MerMay - Snack Time!

And this year's MerMay pic is done! May is slowly becoming a regular character even in my doodles and the disaster zone my brain is supposed to be. This giant bean might end up meeting other characters one day, who knows... will they be able to stand her cuteness? Only time can tell...!

Tried to use a different brush to make her pattern. Not exactly happy but not unhappy with it either... must be studied.

Explaining the Plan

Yes, yes. I made another fake screenshot. Couldn't help it. No idea what exactly are they talking about, except that if there's something that requires an headshot while the others can only act as a distraction, then you know it's one hard monster to take down. Also a bit subtle, but even if these twos are basically bros, Aatank is still Clyde's boss. He's the one in charge.

You can tell I haven't drawn in a while, my already bad work gets one heck of a downgrade if I don't constantly keep myself busy... ugh. And I admit I had no idea of what to do as a background, only at the end I decided to draw a bit of the ship. Some stuff is just unpredictable, I guess.

It's an Hailstorm!!!

You have read the title well, random reader who stumbled upon this entry! The weather is still pretty cold and wintery in my little corner of the planet. We still get strong winds and rain and even worse, actual hail! Speaking of which...

Today the rain was especially intense, soon the noise changed to something more solid. I looked outside and yes, you've guessed it, more hail was pelting the place! But this time it was different, the ice balls weren't round like usual but had weird shapes, they were.... blocky, like a mix if lego blocks and jigsaw puzzles! Well, now this of course puzzled me too (forgive the bad pun. Sleep deprivation is one nasty thing to deal with.) so I decided to wait for the storm to pass and try piece the pieces (ehe!) together.

It wasn't an easy task, but I always enjoyed puzzles so this one wasn't too hard. Sure, the lack of color and different pieces didn't make things any easier but at the end I did it. It was a message of some sort, because all the hail grains put together said.........

APRIL'S FOOLS!!!!!

I know, it was pretty stupid and predictable, but still better than jumpscares and screamers. I know those aren't for everybody. But jokes aside, the weather is indeed that messy here but if I have to say it, it's still better than risking to get roasted alive whenever one steps outside! Have a nice day~!

Yarn Creeper

A request my brother made that took me way too long to do (flu got in the way among other things) but it's finally done! I know it's ugly, the proportions are all wrong and it looks way too nice for a creeper, but it's my first time ever doing one, it's a wonder it can actually stand on it's four stubby feet!

On an amusing fact, my cat tried to mess with it as soon as he spotted it. Knowing my family's knack for weird events, it wouldn't surprise me if my cat somehow understands all that gaming talk that happens around him.

Cuddly Twin Snakes

Exactly what the title says. I wanted to make a smaller snake this time, then my brother came, saw it and demanded one too. So now the snakes are two XD Far from perfect, but cute and full of love!

I'm still pissed at the tutorial's author for cutting the video off right before doing the head, the method I use seems to work, but probably it will never be as good as the real deal. And yes, I have found actual doll eyes, I admit I had no idea it was possible to buy them >>;

The little bandanas are actually a friend's idea. Adds cuteness!

Too Much Pink!

"Somebody is going to die for this."

....I think she meant me. Help.

Yes, my brain went weird again. Had a stupid idea, found it funny, chuckled all the time while working on it. And presto... Yira is now probably hatching a murder plan.

For those who don't know, Yira is a Battle Bears OC of mine who was originally created only for being a one-scene wonder but she ended up being a full-fledged character with her onw story and mission in life. While I cannot reveal further, let's just say there are more chances of her accidentally releasing Cthulhu while hunting for treasure rather than wearing that... thing. So, yeah... something weird is clearly going on.

...It might also be proof that I was extremely bored, but you decide.

Valentine's Day Custard Pie

Since it's Valentine's Day, I decided to try something I haven't done in a long while: A PIE!!!!!

An absolutely delicious cherry pie! Because we all deserve some sweetness once in a while. I know it's not perfect, but sadly everyone in the family needs to tone it down regarding food, so this pie was the first after a very long time of forced pause. At least our tastebuds were extremely happy!

Before you ask, I did try to extract it from the pan to at least make it more presentable, but the operation turned out to be too risky and it almost ended in pieces. So... yeah, this shot was the best one ^^;  Enjoy!

A nice, relaxing winter day in Pelican Town.

Been having fun with this game so far. I'm not rushing it, just letting it take it's time as I learn strategies and secrets.

Finally got the chance to get a better shot of my pirate in Sea of Thieves. Not the prettiest lady around, but she's an hard worker.

Sure, somehow I managed to get my ship destroyed by a Megalodon, got attacked by a skeleton ship during a storm, managed somehow to have a whole island collapse on me and got struck by lightning while fishing on a dock, but I guess it's just accidents of the job.
