First time here with the baby!
Hubby's bday
I made this cake for the first time. I'm quite proud of myself. First time making buttercream... It's weird. I imagined it to be creamier? Mby I should've mixed it longer.. idk. Combination is good, everyone enjoyed it ^^

Bombshell lunch..
½ Chicken box from McDonald's
4 nuggies, 3 chicken strips, 1 small fries
With additional spinach bites with some mango sweet chili sauce, and sour cream sauce..
Made pea-tots! Potatoes and peas (boiled and mashed) with cheese and breadcrumbs, then baked. Made them for baby, and they were a great success

Rainy walk with hubby and baby. We also went grocery shopping. I got everything for my new breakfast tortillas idea. And I've got a summer mix of cut flowers. Now to wind down and rest a bit before our night time routine with a teething baby

Lunch time. My hubby's idea. We got take out from an Asian fusion restaurant.
I ate 3 gyozas with minced meat, garlic, ginger and all classics, and also katsu chicken bao baos ^^ I am sooo happy. I love it. With it I also ate leftover rice and veggies (zucchini and pepper)
Also drank a non alcoholic beer.

Breakfast cornflakes at 6:30, followed by breastfeeding my not so toothless baby. She got two teeth at once! So much pain for both of us.
After I drank coffee, my MIL came and brought me a cheese pastry (sirnica). Got to do some crossword puzzles and snack on almonds and cashews

Came home after a mom group in my town ^^ I feel so much better after these. It's during this summer, and I've learned so much and it makes you feel less alone as a mom, and much more normal. I've met so many new mom friends and it's been a great journey. My attitude changed for better ^^
*I've been on a mental health journey for a while. And finally I am set with an EMDR psychologist and I feel much more confident in that than with a gestalt therapy which I tried first.
It's been tough as a new mom and with hormonal changes and lack of sleep and with this ugly heat of the summer... But I think I've made great progress and that we should try to improve when we can 😁🙈

Happy Monday
Morning cornflakes at 6:30, followed by a snooze and breastfeeding the baby. Later real breakfast; sandwich ham, cottage cheese and mayo
MIL came to help, (I managed to take my medicine and had coffee!!! Which never happens) we made lunch for me and hubby, and lunch for my baby (1 meal a day that's not milk). The baby had carrot, zucchini, and yam with semolina. And we made rice, chicken and veggies. Currently waiting for hubby to come home after work so we eat together. Baby is napping. Will do more sum up from now on with categories. I saw it at one blog (will tag them) for inspo so there will be less posts and more free time for me ^^ more doable to stay consistent for posting my days here. It's raining and I'm doing crossword puzzles, can't wait for lunch
