Ok but Gale in bg3 getting worse at talking every time he tries to flirt is actually so adorable? It's not a significant drop, but sometimes you can hear him stumbling over his own words a little, or pausing more, or even changing the subject on something that he clearly has an answer to. For a man who clearly so prides himself in his ability to talk, it's such a good display of just how smitten he is, and how nervous he is about it. Something about that just makes him feel so soft.

You can't convince me Gale wasn't totally advertising himself as marriage material throughout the entirety of his romance. He's got a tower. It's got a great kitchen and a wine cellar. He can cook.
