now I'm not saying that it automatically makes them canon but the POTENTIAL here??? the potential,,,,,

plus the fact that 卿 qing can also be modified to be 愛卿 ai qing, ai meaning beloved???? as i said the POTENTIAL

and they are just so fucking funny too. that tweet that's like "pov you're just a little hater" "and? 🖕" THAT IS THEM

but at the same time that's not all there is because there is CLEARLY a history of trust and collaboration between the two. it's impossible for there not to be considering their positions; doubtless they've had to cooperate hundreds of times to keep the luofu running smoothly. plus, let's recall that these people live for eons so they've spent what. hundreds of years knowing each other? and they're close enough for fu xuan to call him jing yuan and not general (in private, at least, according to jing yuan's character story 1 (WHICH BTW WAS LITERALLY JUST THEM FLIRTING OVER CHESS WHAT THE FUCK MIHOYO?)).

WHAT'S MORE is that fu xuan tends to use 本座 ben zuo to refer to herself instead of 我 wo. like, when she's talking to us or other people she mostly uses 本座 ben zuo. but whenever we see her in-game conversations with jing yuan, she ONLY ever uses 我 wo. that's yet another display of intimacy; when you use formal (noble, even) personal pronouns then the people you choose to use informal personal pronouns around are very close indeed.

moreover, fu xuan describes herself as the best person to ask about jing yuan bc she knows him the most:
