I told her to dress for the farm today.
There are a lot of steps to this moving process. This is one of them. We just agreed to meet again at the truck stop near my home town, the same place we had prom. (at South Tabor, Portland, Oregon)
My life is ✨GLAM-OR-OUS✨ #nofilter (at South Tabor, Portland, Oregon)
Monday has her all...
I KNOW our move is what is best for our family. For Greg and I. For our kids. That our kids feel the love from aunts and uncles and cousins. More space. Financial freedom. For our aging parents. But, f*ck, if it doesn't feel like I am suffocating from sadness tonight. I feel I could burst into ugly cry at any moment and that is not the least bit pretty. Photo from my Sunday walks with one of my bestest girls. Every Sunday. For years. And years. And years. (at Mount Tabor)
When they are suppose to be napping but all you hear are little voices saying, "Oh, no. Oh, no." And you think "Oh. No." #pullthedraweroutandclimbuponthedresser
I would like to publicly thank Hugo for making my life less boring. #nothingbutpaper #allthepaper #ugh
Our living room is nearly empty now, only a few chairs, an area rug and our record console. The acoustics are great. The dance parties have been epic. But this morning, I just sat on the hard wood floor for a few minutes, alone, and I watched the sun rise. I watched it changed. I accepted the change. Some moments were more radiant than others and I just sat there and felt it all. I am really going to miss this place. (at South Tabor, Portland, Oregon)
Tonight, I found her in the living room alone, in the dark. She told me she had spoken to the moon and let the moon know that she really wanted her Babbo to come back. (at South Tabor, Portland, Oregon)
I witnessed the moment he discovered there were clouds in the sky. Not sure what took him so long but from all accounts, it was worth the wait. (at Clinton City Park)
I am going to pray to the moon and the stars and everything up there that this girl remembers how fun Halloween was after it took 40 minutes to convince her not to just wear tights outside and to coax her into this kitty costume. #stubbornisanunderstatement #ullaannabelle #stubborn #markovichedwardsclan (at South Tabor, Portland, Oregon)
This kid. He chose a gourd for his pumpkin this year. As we left the house to go trick or treating, he grabbed the gourd. When I told him to leave his pumpkin at the house, he handed me the bucket. #hugoluca #smartmonkey #markovichedwardsclan (at South Tabor, Portland, Oregon)

She and I. We high-fived one another before I left yesterday. (at Kalamazoo, Michigan)
I'm tired of looking at floor samples and paint colors and the cost of new furnaces and electrical panels. Realizing, rather quickly, that we just can't do it all right now. We will live with the old for awhile. But my mind went there again today, wrapped up in all that "stuff" which was exactly everything I did not want to consume myself with. So I stepped away and went for a walk. It isn't our mountainous Oregon but it really is something. (at Asylum Lake Preserve)
