Hi guys it seems Ive lost Kara (hopefully a temporary thing) but if you still want to rp,, my new muse is Alyssa (from beyblade but works just fine with any character who has a human appearence, even if they are NOt human) and her bitbeast companion Rathalos, who is a snarky and regal big blood red dragon. RuYi dutifully walked alongside her grandfather with graceful strides, keeping a neutral expression on her face as she spoke quietly with the elder fox. She easily recalled that he’d mentioned this dragoness before in passing, who went by the name ‘Kara’, but now it seemed it was time for their actual meeting. Huizhong had also mentioned that he’d helped her settle into the community some time ago and that she was a kind soul who had a nurturing aura about her, which was fortunate. Hopefully their friendship was easy to form.
Fortunately for all of them, the time she’d spent among humans had made her more kind and open to social interaction than before, as she would hate to subject anyone to the stone-cold heart that had formed from exposure to Makai’s cruelty and Lilith’s tutelage. Her current state, what with Lilith significantly weakening her by taking away a good chunk of her magic and thus parting her from four of her nine tails, had RuYi feeling shamed and her pride deeply wounded. She’d worked so hard for all of that power, and now it was gone. She had to relearn everything to get back to that god-like state. But that was in the past. She wanted now only to concentrate on her magic studies to get it all back.
Approaching the somewhat castle-like stone abode of the dragoness had RuYi gazing in awe, admiring the architecture that reminded her so much of the castles in Europe. It felt familiar all ready, which gave her a sense of comfort, and a small smile made its way to her lips. Huizhong led her to the door and knocked, glancing at her with a warm gaze and whispering reassuringly that Kara would definitely like her and to just be herself. RuYi nodded with a slightly bigger smile, watching the door like a curious child with her pale blue eyes.
With a bit of quick thinking, she decided a gift to the hostess would be quite appropriate for their first meeting, and conjured up a bouquet of vibrant, colorful flowers wrapped in shiny yellow-gold paper and a lavender ribbon, choosing those that symbolized gratitude and friendship as they fit the current situation. Even despite Huizhong’s assurances that the dragoness would like her, a little gift never hurt, right? It was customary, besides.
“One moment please! I’ll be right there!” The cheery voice came from over the door, projected there by a spell after Kara had checked to see who her visitors were.
it didnt take long for the dragoness to arrive at the door, giving Huizhong a beaming smile and a bow, wings dipping in respect. the customary greeting of respect was given, and then she turned to the other kitsune, the one she had not met before. “Greetings.”

Because April 1st is coming up, I feel the need to mention that my blog will not contain “screamers” of any sort. No pound noises unexpected, no “flashers”, no “jump scares”; none of that nonsense

Kara has only one active thread atm (I think...) so Im putteing her on haitus cause with my other two rp blogs being in the same position, I really dont feel like rping since there is nothing to reply TO

The dragoness blinked in surprie and delight, and felt her currently invisible tail curl behind her. “Really? Thank you so much!” She hadnt had anything planned that evening, but the next reveal had her flushing a little. “Oh!” and then trailed off a little, unsure as to what to say next other than an inquiry n how to get to the theatre and how delighted she was to meet her. “I’m Kara, by the way.”
Merina gave the other woman a wink. “Of course, anything to show someone the world of a theater.” She then held out her hand towards her. “Nice to meet you, Kara. I’m Merina. Do you mind if we take my car? It’ll be faster for us to get there.”
A laugh escaped her. “Thats what I tell my customers when I talk to them about gemstones and glass. I specialize in glass art and jewelry, but a lot of people only seem to know the really expensive stones. No love for the pretty peitersite and moss agates.”
The handshake was firm and gentle. “That sounds great!”

Kara grinned, and nodded. “I’d love that, actually. I dont get to see vvery many performances.. aside from those my family puts on during the holidays. Who are you playing in this?”
“Is that so, huh? We’re in you’re in luck! I’ll give you a ticket for tonight’s performance.” Merina’s grin then widen when asked about who was she going to be playing. “You’re looking at the main lead here!”

She leaned in and kissed him, and shook her head. “Nothing today. Why?”
she was sure she knew, but really wanted to see what the bat had in mind. After all, any time spent with him was wonderful. And maybe she could convince him to winter with her with some hot cider and more time to enjoy eachother’s company.
The soft peck was received with a warm and broad smile.
“I was thinking. Maybe we could go shopping today if you’re up for it? There’s only so much we can do outdoors here for now.” The bat added as his eyes looked around for a brief moment at their snow covered surroundings before meeting the dragoness’ again.
She cuddled up closer to the bat and hummed contentedly. “Mmm.. yeah. its much warmer in the human realm, and more places you can warm up in if it is too cold. I’d love to go shopping with you, dearheart. Did yuhave a particular place in mind? and are you able to walk among the humans without them noticing you?” Very important questions, both of them, especially from a dragoness who could only managed small illusions without the aid of an enchanted necklace.

“I.. dont know quite how to get there. I hope I’m not taking up your time if I asked your aid in getting directions?” She got up, gripping the arm of the bench she had been sitting in. “I’d love to see it.”
she shuffled her shopping bag, not having expected her day to go as quiet as it had been. As it was, the blue eyed woman was welcome to anything to liven up her day.
“Better yet…” Merina gave a smile to the woman. “How about I show you? I was actually going to be heading their myself. I actually work at the theater as an actress.”

“If you’re interested in this play… I suggest coming to our theater. We’re actually going to do a live production of it.” Merina seemed to quirked when she noticed the other was reading the playbook that had the same name of the production she was going to be in.

She grinned, tail wagging once more.. only to go still for a moment as color went to her cheeks when he kissed her hand. Her tail curled around her in shy pleasure, the grin never leaving.
“I’d love to Kuronue. Maybe I can introduce you to more sweets than just the pocky, hmm?” She knew most of the areas but there was little she liked better than to go shopping with a loved one.
Kuronue couldn’t help a warm smile at such beautiful sight.
“My body will probably regret that, you know?-” He jested lightheartedly, chuckling a little. “-But I’m always down for it. Trying new things is my thing after all~”
“Do you have any plans for today?” He asked, wondering it she was free for the day so they could go pay a visit to the human world. Given the current state of some areas of Makai now that the winter was hitting them, there was only so much Kuronue could do, so he was now enjoying some spare time until the weather improved. Time was not a problem for the bat youkai until then.

The bat demoness went up the path to Kara's home, smiling brightly, and nearly skipping. "I hope she is home!" Miyuki giggles to herself and begins thinking of what they should do.
Kara was indeed home, lazing at the back of her house while reading a kids’ book from the human realm. It didnt take her long to notice someone had entered her area, and she hummed thoughtfully as she put her bookmark where she stopped, and headed out to see who it was.
A wide grin appeared on the dragoness’s face upon seeing the bat demon. “Miyuki? What a surprise. I’m glad to see you!”

Miyuki beamed with happiness as she saw her newfound friend. “Glad to see you, too!” She ran up to the large home, greeting Kara with the biggest hug she could muster. “I was hoping to come spend the day with you, if I can!” The bat spoke rapidly, her words almost slurring together. “Do you sleep much at night…?” Miyuki’s ears layers flat as she asked the question. “It’s hard to wake myself in the daytime like this…”
Kara grinned and hugged the bat demoness back. “Im glad you found your way back with no trouble! I’d be happy to spend the day with you. You dont mind my little one Rhodry coming with us on whatever we end up doing, do you dear?”
She tilted her head at the question, pulling back from the hug to look at Miyuki curiously. “I… am a diurnal being, dear. But I do love sleeping in. Im not sure if that answers your question, though.”
“I wouldn’t mind at all! Wait… Who is rhodry? You have kids?” Miyuki blinks her grey blue orbs at the other, obvious confusion in her expression. Kara was a very interesting being, and if she had kids, the bat was going to flip. She could only imagine how cute they would be. “Anyway, I don’t mind. As long as I get to spend the day learning about where you live and stuff! It’s so different here.” She spoke with a smile. Miyuki had come to find that Kara, different places, and different species were of interest to her. This would be a fun learning experience!
Kara chuckled. “I have a son, yes. Here, I’ll let hm know we are going somewhere. He shouldn't be far… or would you like to come in for a snack first?” The dragoness tilted her head at the bat. “Where all did you want to go? Did you wish to explore the forest with me, or visit the town where my shop is?”
She was sue the Kitsune would not mind. And where was her little one?
