I am Kareman, a Palestinian mother from Gaza, and we are still alive after 475 days of war that began on October 7, 2023, and ended today. However, despite being alive, pain and sorrow have not left us. Everything around us has turned to rubble. I once said, "This pain will end one day, and I believe in that," but I never imagined that the pain would follow us in this way.

We returned to our home, only to find that the pain has deepened. Our home, which once embraced us, is now destroyed. The fishing boat, which was our only source of livelihood, was consumed by fire, taking away all hope. The fishing nets and equipment, which were our means of survival, have been burned. My husband, who supported us with his work, now has nothing but memories😭💔

As for me, I was a children's teacher, teaching them to love life despite the difficulties, but my school, which was once a place of hope, is now nothing but ash. We have lost everything, but we still hold on to hope thanks to Hamoud, who gives us the strength to keep going.

Today, we need you more than ever. We ask for your help in repairing my husband's fishing boat, as we have no other source of income. If we don't get the support to repair it, we will remain trapped in a cycle of poverty and need. But if we stand together, we can rise again.

Please, don't leave our families in this dark path. Every donation, no matter how small, represents a chance for us to live again.

How can you live in this safety while we fight just to stay alive? Can you imagine for just a moment what it's like to be in our shoes?😭

We need you now more than ever.

I am Kareman Palestinian mother and children's teacher , and I live with my husband Ayman and my son Hamoud in an unending hell since October 7th, 2023.

The war has destroyed everything in our lives. We used to live a simple life, but it was full of hope. Now, all that remains for us is fear and suffering. The school where I worked has been destroyed, my husband's boat, which provided for us, is now just rubble, and we have nothing left.

We now live in a tattered tent that offers no protection from the freezing cold or the constant bombings surrounding us. Every night, we sleep hearing the sounds of explosions, never knowing if we will wake up to a new dawn. As for food, it has become a luxury we can no longer afford. The price of flour has exceeded $350, and the milk for my son Hamoud is only available to me at $125, which is what we need just to survive.

Despite all these challenges, we live with only one hope: to evacuate when the crossing is opened. But the cost of evacuation exceeds $45,000, a huge sum that we do not have. We need your help now more than ever. Every small donation is a chance for us to stay alive, and every support from you is the only hope for us to escape this hell.

Every time we remember the displacements and the shells falling around us, we wonder: Will there ever be a day when we can escape this suffering? Will there be a day when we can provide food for our children in a safe place? We only want a chance to survive, a chance to escape this hell😭

While the world celebrates Christmas with joy, lights, and gifts, here in Gaza, it’s another day filled with pain and loss. But it can be different with your help.

In this picture, my 19-month-old son, Hamoud, holds a small Christmas tree amidst the rubble that was once our home. His eyes, full of confusion and sorrow, are a reflection of all the children here who have never known peace. Christmas for Hamoud isn’t about celebration. It’s about survival.

Hamoud’s life is defined by hunger, fear, and cold. He deserves so much more. He deserves to play, to laugh, to have the warmth of a home, and the joy of childhood. But for now, he’s fighting for the basic things every child should have—food, safety, and warmth

I, Kareman, his mother, ask you to help us give him a future. The donations you make won’t go to luxuries. They will buy food to fill his belly, clothes to protect him from the cold, and maybe, just maybe, a way to escape this nightmare to a safer place.

Today a bomb was dropped in northern Gaza. The sound was heard, the ground moved, and the windows of houses were broken more than 50 kilometers away. 😖😱😱

An Israeli drone is used that makes the sound of a small child crying loudly, and when someone comes out thinking he is helping him, he is immediately shot and killed💔
