Hello, My name is Karen Wares, I live in Marquette, Michigan on the banks of Lake Superior, what a great place to spend my time at my long arm quilter having fun being creative. I started quilting at the young age of 19 during a visit to Louisiana to see a friend of my husbands (yes I was married at age 19, and 39 years later he is still the love of my life). Quilting became a passion that never went away. I also enjoy bike riding, kayaking, gardening and spending as much time as possible with my grandchildren.
