She was suited up in her jet black and yellow themed costume, the heroine placed her hands in her hips while staring up at him. “ This isn’t an everyday thing, don’t worry. “

Danny was sipping his ice coffee enjoying his break in the sunny afternoon. A familiar voice was calling his name from a direction his ears couldn’t comprehend. He blinked and turned his head to see if there was a person in sight. Once he finally lowered his eyes down, he saw a familiar face—or rather…a very tiny familiar face.

“ Karen?” He hunched down to get closer to the small sized woman.

“Well isn’t ‘The Buzzing Scientist’? What’s up?”

Karen folded her arms over her chest with a roll of the eyes, staring up at Danny. Her attitude and big personality surely didn’t diminish. “ Hardy har har... very funny Danny.”

Taking off her goggles and pulling off her mask, she watched as he was hunched over.

“ I may need a bit of your help, if you don’t mind.”

Once in his palm she stood there. Waving up at him.

Carlos carefully cupped his hand so that he didn’t drop her as he stood up.

“Well, you certainly look smaller,” he said. “Your clothes shrunk too - I wonder about the rate though. Do they still fit the way they did before?”

He set his hand against the desk and held it still so that she could climb back off to safety.

Lab accidents happen. And sometimes, even with all the preparations and precautions, people get hurt.

This was not one of those times, exactly. Sure, someone was affected… but Carlos wouldn’t strictly call this ‘harmful’.

He watched his intern as she stood on the ground, now much much smaller than she had been before. Very carefully, Carlos crouched down closer to her.

“Hey… are you hurt?” he asked softly, unsure of whether his voice would be too loud for her tiny ears.

Karen stared up, up, up and uuuup at Mr. Carlos gulping as it seemed as if he was falling when he crouched down. Taking a few steps back she couldn’t help but to chuckle at the situation. The project that they’ve been working on and perfecting worked a bit too well.

The once 5’3 female was barely 3 inches tall.

“ Uhhh I feel fine?! But did you see the results!?! It worked Mr. Carlos! “

Her voice wasn’t high pitched like the movies but rather soft, almost like a whisper.

“Yeah, I see that,” he said. “I just wish we could have tested it on something other than you…”

He thought for a moment, but then reached down with one hand and set it on the ground beside her, palm up.

“Let’s get you off the floor… it’ll be safer on the table.”

Edit: I didn’t expect the post to circulate this much but she goes through the most wardrobe changes in this show. We were given BTS footage where she does get costume upgrades as all heroes are expected to. Anna even confirmed it multiple times in interviews. I wonder what excuses fanboys will come up with next.

I’d like to add that it hasn’t just been fanboys. A number of women have spammed my notes and inbox about this too when I wrote about the racism Anna was receiving.

We need to hold women accountable for this disgusting racist behavior too.
