This is sort of an unpopular opinion but Seanemma’s my fave Emma ship! Most fans prefer Scemma but I just think her dynamic with Banshee was too underrated
OMFG SAMEEE, IM SO GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE IN THIS!!! I love Sean and Emma so much- They had hella good chemistry and some really good, wholesome moments together- I miss seeing them together I can’t lie 😭 Their dynamic and how they interacted with one another was honestly EVERYTHING.
What’s your thoughts on Jono x Husk since I’m pretty sure it’s the main ship of him
Oooo! I actually really loved them, they were so cute and had so much potential if it weren’t for Jono’s self loathing and insecurities kinda get in the way of him having something substantial with Paige- I can’t say I really ship them now given that ship has seemingly long sailed, but they were a cute pair for as rocky as their relationship was!
97 S2 is good so far but the X-Factor and Emma’s characterizations are a lil iffy to me, like why is Havok and his team detaining mutants?? Ik mutants can be bad ppl but it never sat right with me
I AGREE, with Emma’s case it just feels so out of character for her to sell out fellow mutants when something of such a catastrophic scale happens cause she typically really takes losing her kind to heart. It just bothers me since in the comics, the 90’s are really crucial to Emma and her development as a character and it’s like… odd to me- I was disappointed in her characterization 😭
With X factor too, but also I think I understand them a bit more since mutants go through SO much, it’s easy to be manipulated and taken advantage of when you’ve been kicked down- so that’s how I look at it with them. After Genosha and asteroid M with the core X-Men gone for so long, it’s natural to be aimless, feel hopeless, and at the sight of an opportunity, you’ll feel more inclined to take it no matter the ramifications. It doesn’t make me the happiest to see them target their own people, but with the context in the story I personally view it as they’re being manipulated and taken advantage of by the US Government given they’ve been put in such a vulnerable spot and it’s very easy to take advantage of that vulnerability
Polaris changed her tune up QUICK after that conversation with Jubilee- I don’t think her heart was entirely in it, and I’m hoping that’s the case with the rest of X-Factor as well, I would wager that it is but for now we wait and see!
GIRL THE WAY I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW MONET IN 97?? Pretty sure she also turned to Penance briefly but UGH she’s my fave Gen X member
DUDE YESSS WHEN I SAW THE LEAKED TEASERS AT FIRST I WAS SO HYPED- saw Monet, Synch and Chamber! And Monet did turn into penance briefly, I’m really hoping to see more of them! I saw a thread on Twitter where someone was pointing out the mutants Jubilee saved & they were able to scout out Skin, Gaia and Mondo, which I didn’t even clock in episode 2, all thats missing is Husk and I hope she shows up too-
I’m just yapping now but I love them so muchhh- my fave has gotta be Chamber, but I love all of them so even having a favorite is a tough choice, but Monet is up there for me too, absolutely adore her <3 hope we get to see them kick ass in one of the future episodes!

MARKING THIS AS SPOLERS BUT AAAAH THEY WERE SO GOOD, I GOT MY CRUMBS OF JONO, MONET AND SYNCH IM HAPPY AS A MF-
Also jubilee was straight getting ACTIVE in episode 2, that was actually amazing- is it just me or does there feel like there’s a slight increase in animation quality? Not that the animation was bad or anything to begin with but it just feels a lot more smooth, I’m loving it! Loved seeing her put belt to ASS, that fight scene was so good-
Not much of a fan of what they did with Emma, but maybe reasons get revealed later along the lines, idk- i feel iffy, especially since Emma is such an integral part of the Generation X team. I know it’s a different story and so things are gonna be different, but I just hoped that she was more important and not as shady :/
But overall I’m loving season 2 so far and I’m happy that I have something to get excited for every week for a few weeks!
I’m also grateful they didn’t end up whitewashing Monet, I was a bit scared in the leaks before the proper trailer dropped since she appeared lighter than she is, but I’m glad to know it ended up being color saturation rather than them pulling another sunspot on us
BUT JONOOO MY BOYYY, first time I’ve seen chamber and other of my Generation X faves actually animated, I’m so hype- he hasn’t gotten any speaking lines yet but I’m hoping we get some for him, I’m so happy to see him in a big animated project like this, I’m wondering if we’ll get to see Skin or Husk at all. I’m hoping that we do! But I won’t hold my breath too hard about it-
