i’m a huge nerd about a handful of things, especially comics, music, and sci fi. i grew up with a ton of media but never really engaged in online fan spaces before coming here, so ngl i think i interact with a weird range.
i tried putting together a summary of the comics i’m interested in and ended up with a disaster, so until i figure out a way to wrap that idea up pretty i’ll just say i have a pretty broad range of what i read and have read, with fantastic four and hellblazer being the only main titles i’ve read all the way through in full. i have a TON of comic characters i love (my collection of naked barbies to mentally manipulate), but some of my all-time favorites are monet st croix, beatriz da costa & tora olafsdotter, johnny storm, abe sapien, shatterstar, bart allen, johnstantine, and scott summers. i also fuck with peter parker and hal jordan immensely but in a way where i want to put them in hamster balls and push them down a set of stairs yknow
so most of my comic posting tends to fall into what i’m most familiar with: green lanterns, fantastic four, spider-man, justice league international, birds of prey, late 80s to early 2000s xmen
for sci fi stuff, i tend to like anime and other tv/movies that fall into the genre. i also grew up reading classic sci fi novels (i couldn’t tell you why) and generally consuming anything with aliens i could get my little hands on.
i tend to reblog posts that hit me in the horrible creativity idea center with a shittily edited image of what i’m imagining, sometimes in response to a post that was definitely intended as very casual or to vent. i’ll delete my reblog if you ask, i totally get that my kicking around in something potentially personal isn’t always welcome
last thing — just want y’all to know there’s no pressure to follow me, or if you do follow and stop vibing with what i post, no hard feelings if you unfollow me. i’m kinda just here to use my feed as a personal sandbox, making shitty memes and putting out probably unfunny takes
finally getting a sea creature patterned swimsuit after years of wanting one and was super pleasantly surprised looking through the seller sites with the variety of coverage/compression options until i thought who the fuck else is dropping $80-100 on species specific swimwear other than queer neurodivergent people
