Some shots of my last project car, a first generation '92 Subaru Impreza, GC8 chassis. Brought this car back in pieces from Utah to the east coast, and this was part of the trade for my '93 Nissan 300zx. The z32 needed both wiring harnesses replaced, and the engine was dogged as well, and after working on and daily driving that car for 4+ years I decided it was time to part ways. Still the dumbest decision of my life - never part with a z32. They are too rare and expensive, and way too fun to let go of. The car is still in SLC, now it has a boosted LS motor and last I saw it was painted off-white with a widebody on the rear. My friend Matias owns it now.

Bottom two shots were during the build, you can see the wide fitment in the last two frames prior to pulling the front fenders and flaring the rears. These were some big wide wheels to fit on this car, but I made it work and daily drove it for a long time until selling. 5 speed manual, full exhaust and bolt-ons. The exhaust with this motor sounded so good, no pops, not too loud, but an even and raspy roar when really getting on it. Quick, light, and handled like it was on rails - the suspension was static and extremely tight.

First two frames were when it was completed, painted flat black, and as good as the car ever was. I lived year round in OCMD at the time and this was when H20i had the cops in a frenzy, so one day going the grocery store OCPD hit me with thousands of dollars worth of inspection fines, which eventually led me to selling the car (it was impossible to drive legally anymore, even though it was tagged historic).

Not long after I sold the car, and started my trips to Europe, and eventually relocated in Sofia permanently. That ended a decade long run of some pretty cool JDM builds.
