Upperclassy || Yellow & Misty
“…’eau de dry land’?” Yellow repeats blankly and gives her a small smile, “That’s good to hear. I’m not much of a hair person but I… ah..” She self-consciously uses her fingertips to brush her blonde hair, wondering whether it had… split ends or whatever it was Misty call it.
The blonde looks back up at her senior with utter confusion and she tilts her head to a side. “Ah…? You mean… you didn’t mean there was something up on the ceiling…?” She really was geting confused with what Misty was saying, but in the end of it all, her cheeks flushes a light red and she gives Misty a soft smile. “Thank you, Misty-san…”
“A-ah… a date?”That, she knew what it was, and her face had changed from a light shade of pink, to a deep crimson. “There’s no need for that, Misty-san! I’m… I’m perfectly content with being in the organizing committee for the school dance!” A small nervous laugh escapes her lips and she blushes even more at the mention of her new post on Student Council. “…I didn’t really expect to get such a high ranked position… I think it was just luck. That’s all.”
"Yeah. A date," Misty repeated, grinning devilishly. "Hey, hey, hey," she added, noticing the junior's crimson blush. "No need to be embarrassed! It can't hurt you, I promise. You'll have fun. I won't try to set you up with a jerk. I hate jerks. Jerks are jerk...ish. Yeah. Anyway, I'll take care of all the details. You won't have to lift a finger. 'Kay?"
Misty reaffirmed her previous statement. "I'm not joking though. Cross my heart; hope to die."
She demonstrated, crossing her heart. "Stick a needle in my eye...is that how it goes? I think so."
"Congrats on that though, girl," Misty said cheerfully. "That's really cool. You so deserved it."
