i didn't know anything about mahjong before reading this and you don't have to either. all you need is a love for weird surreal fiction and transgender rawness. and this one really pleasantly surprised me with how unique it felt and flowed. how strange and lovely it was. how ponderous. i don't even know what else to say - its multidimensional, it had me on the edge of my seat, the emotions were intricate, it's everything i wanted when i went looking for some interesting and weird trans fiction to read, and more. and i suspect it will be clinging to my mind for some time to come.
