you’ve heard of elf on a shelf
now get ready for….
elf on a shelf…….lazytown edition
He never even discovered America, he enslaved and killed Natives, thought he was superior. He doesn’t deserve to be honored anywhere
Okay listen to me you uneducated dwarves.
My teacher complains about this all the time. How people say that Christopher Columbus was dishonorable and terrible because he mistreated natives and he gets all the credit for discovering America, etc.
First of all, of course he didn't "discover America". Naturally that's wrong.
But what you people don't understand is that his crew were a bunch of thieves and criminals??? They were told they could either stay in prison or travel with Columbus bc he didn't have a crew. Honestly tho which one would you pick if you had the choice.
Long story short. We have Columbus's lovely, murderous crew to thank for what happened. And Chris gets the blame.
And tbh I didn't believe my teacher at first but it turns out it's true so

one of my favorite things about LazyTown is how Robbie always tries to do these really mean things all the time but then when he’s shown any sort of kindness whatsoever he just CAN’T continue with his plot anymore and he just gets all smiley and awkward and nervous about the possibility of the kids actually LIKING him
